ZillowVERIFIED Not just another real estate team! Never before did I understand that the agents you choose matter immensely. My Wife and I decided to move from the Sacramento area to Denver. As soon as we met David and Tristan, we knew they were our realtors. Their experience, bay area network, and professionalism were key "selling points". What we didn't know the Messer Team brought was the immense patience and emotional intelligence to deal with our pure insanity. This was an incredibly stressful time as we were upending the lives we knew in Sacramento, leaving our family, and trying to get all the logistics and timing right to sell here, buy in Denver, and travel overseas in between. When we had an offer fall through, while already being under contract in Denver, our hearts sank and stress level peaked. What we are so grateful for is how, no matter our stress level and how I communicated with them, they maintained their calm, were authentically empathetic, and really knew how to deal with sellers gone crazy. They already had solutions and were calling backup offers. Ultimately, we never missed a step. They're work ensured our home still sold and allowed us to stay under contract in Denver...a home we DID NOT want to lose! This reinforced our decision that David and Tristan were the right agents for us and were 100% on our side at every step in the process. We were kept well informed, given all available options, and never made to feel as if we were a burden or gone crazy (even if we felt like it). Not only did he do an excellent job of all aspects of both transactions, he was a stellar communicator. l live in the SF Bay Area so all of our communication was by phone or email and he was always available and responded quickly to each question or concern. In each very timely email he clearly explained the as advantages and disadvantageous of each issue or offer. When we got a higher offer, but with several disadvantages, he negotiated a higher price from a different buyer. Also the property manager was very uncooperative so David had to do a lot more work for these sales than he normally would have. He didn't complain and literally NEVER criticized the property manager, thus displaying the highest professionalism.

ZillowVERIFIED My fiance and I went from passively looking at Bay Area real estate, to closing the sale of our first home all within a month, in large part thanks to David talent as our real estate agent. We hadn't legitimately been looking until our "dream home" popped up on Zillow for what we thought was within or budget, when it turned out that the listing price was far below what it expected to sell for, we thought we'd end looking and continue renting until another dream home popped up. David instead recommended we step out of our comfort area and explore some homes in areas we hadn't before considered, but were great starter homes with great value. For a span of a few days David was responsive as could be texting me not only as an agent, but a friend - and made himself available night and day to answer my questions, give his expert opinion, and reassure me of what I was doing. When we finally found a condo we really liked, we decided to make the offer that day so we wouldn't miss out. Although the condo was worth more, David went in at listing price with our first offer, and it was accepted that night! Not only that, but when the home inspection showed some minor repairs were required, David was able to negotiate for them to contribute more than the repair cost back to us - on the first ask. Now that we are finally moved in, I think we did end up in our dream home, but we would not have found it without David. ZillowVERIFIED My husband and I met David when we first started our home search a couple of months ago - we saw a house we were interested in on Zillow, contacted the listing agent and a few minutes later he called us back and we met that very same day. We had only just started looking for a place but we hit it off straight away and just like that he became our agent! Throughout the home buying process, David was very knowledgeable and supportive. He met with us numerous times, was very responsive each time we saw a place we wanted to check out and helped us find what we were looking for. As heartbreaking as the search could be at times, he helped us stay optimistic that the right one was right around the corner, which, it was! He helped us through the entire process, from the beginning of the search through to the close, essentially holding our hand the whole time. We definitely recommend David and truly enjoyed working with him. The day we ever look for another place or want to sell our current place we will reach out to him for sure. ZillowVERIFIED We met David at an open house. Compared to our prior agent, who always took more than one day to reply our messages, David always replied within 30 minutes. He has multiple plans for us to bid our current home. It's good to have someone who can give detailed recommendations instead of just the recent sold price of similar home around for the bidding.

ZillowVERIFIED We met David at one of his open houses when we started looking to buy a house. We were impressed how responsive he was to all of our questions even after the open house was over. That was one of the reasons we chose him to be our realtor. When we interviewed him we were concerned about his age but we are glad we chose him to find our house. David listened and took notes of what we wanted in our new house. He never wasted our time showing us random houses. He took us only to the areas we were targeting and only to the houses he knew we would like. Because of that and the fact that he had a good list of off the market houses it only took us less than 2 weeks to find our house and that was amazing. He provided guidance on improvements to make prior to listing to enhance the property value, enlisted contracting services to complete portions of the work, and provided an excellent staging service to make the home shine. The marketing style and photography, personal home website, and video is state of the art and I feel brought in the clients for a further look. The negotiation skills were outstanding in the fact that all of our wants and needs were met on this sale. I cannot say enough about how he treated us throughout the process. The consideration, confidence, respect and "all in" attitude made the entire process easy. David was quick to respond on all communication, too. I highly recommend David for any of your real estate needs.

He ultimately found us our off-market house, which was great as it eliminated the stress of bidding.
