Review I met David at a real estate meet up and was immediately drawn to him. His experience working on Portland City Council and extensive knowledge of codes stood out, as well as his relaxed demeanor and the fact that he is an investor himself. I started working with David shortly after meeting him and was instantly impressed with his excellent communication, his insistence on doing due diligence, and his attention to detail. He has saved me a few time from getting into deals that were mis-represented. He thinks like an investor and is more interested in making sure numbers work then being pushy to close a deal. He has recommended lenders, inspectors, and electricians as well as shared his spreadsheets and numbers. He can think creatively and out of the box, which is a very important skill to have in real estate. I have done four deals with David so far. The most recent was the purchase of my personal home. It took 6 months to close and was a roller coaster ride the whole time. If you want someone intelligent, professional, calm, helpful, and who is going to notice hidden red flags, David is the man.

He is as advertised, very knowledgeable about all aspects of rental property sales and ownership, and he's well-connected with other "team members" that you may need along the way.We put in an offer that wasn't immediately accepted, so David continued to present additional off-market properties he was finding through hard work. When our initial offer was accepted, he advised at various stages of the following inspections and negotiations. When there was a tough decision, we never felt pressured to close the deal because it would benefit him. If you're looking for someone that knows this market well and will respect you, I highly recommend working with David.

He went above and beyond by reaching out to Senator Susan Collins on behave of the USDAs low income, first time home owner, loan program, and their requirement to have the home owners insurance paid in full for the first year. Because low income can not afford to pay a years worth of home owners insurance, on top of earnest money, appraisal, and inspection (general, septic, & pest). Also, he still makes himself available to answer questions and concerns even after closing on my beautiful home! You do not pay out of pocket for his assistance!
