ZillowVERIFIED David was a truly wonderful real estate professional that made the process of buying a home simple and easy. David was very clear and straightforward throughout the whole process and was very responsive when I had questions or needed information regarding my house purchase. David is truly an expert when it comes to all the little details of buying a house and he makes it clear to the buyer if sometimes things got a bit confusing. All in all, It was an absolute pleasure working with David as I purchased my very first home and I would recommend him to any friends or family looking to buy a house in the future. As far as character, David is a great person that is truly trying to help you get the home you want.

ZillowVERIFIED Weve been working with David for I think about four years now. He stayed patient and loyal in assisting us with finding and buying our first home. Throughout this process, he responded quickly to whatever questions we had or always had another person ready to assist us when he wasnt on island. David is an honest realtor who expressed his doubts about other homes we were interested in and didnt rush to sell us a place, we appreciated that the most. We just want to give a HUGE thank you to David for everything hes done for us! Weve already referred David and this company to our friends and family as were confident theyll be in great hands!

ZillowVERIFIED My husband and I were so happy to work with David Hwang again! He sold us our house many years ago and now he has helped us sell our house when we had to return to the mainland. We chose to work with David because of his very clear communication, patience, and willingness to listen to ALL of our concerns. We needed someone who was both sensitive and tenacious as we had a tendency to be anxious with each new step in the sale process. When issues arose, he looked into the options and helped with negotiations. He is honest about the market and does a great amount of research. We were very lucky to work with such an energetic, honest, hardworking realtor!

ZillowVERIFIED David Hwang, is a genuine, friendly, and hard-working real estate agent. Weve worked with him for nearly a year and hes been nothing but professional. Hes patient and never pressures us in to choosing a house we might regret. He hears our wants and needs in a house and comes up with a list of choices for us to view and if we see something out there we want he is on it. Hes sent out several offers to several choice properties and we were more than please when our first choice accepted our offer even with a contingency. He hooked us up with a friendly and professional lender, John Keifer, from Kamaaina Mortgage Group, whose team is also on top of their game. David walked us through the entire buying process, answered our issues and concerns, and checked in on us during some stagnant periods to ensure us the escrow process is going well, and if something needs to be addressed he negotiated on our behalf and got favorable results. If youre looking for your forever home or another investment property you cant go wrong with choosing David Hwang as your agent. He helped us get our forever home and we are entirely grateful to him and his team.

ZillowVERIFIED David is an excellent realtor. Very responsive to all of my wife's questions and very thorough in his explanation of the selling process. We also had him for our home purchase and was equally as great on that side of the field as well.

ZillowVERIFIED David Hwang and the Pineapple Homes team are wonderful! David was attentive and knowledgeable. He was not pushy or presumptuous. He was prompt to schedule showings, understood my preferences, and while I was not purchasing a million dollar home, he treated me like I was. If you have a question, it will be answered within the same day if not within the same hour. As a first time homebuyer, I felt very supported and never felt dumb for asking silly questions. After having a very bad experience with another real estate company, Pineapple Homes really turned things around. Thank you David! You are the best!

ZillowVERIFIED I was paired w. David by chance through Zillow, and looking back, am so grateful for the match. As someone who was a first-time homeowner, new to the area, and house hunting remotely, David's patience in answering questions (sometimes more than once), knowledge of the island, and his willingness to do virtual walk-through's were greatly appreciated. The most invaluable part of the experience (which is partly how I am able to write this review from my dream home) is David's personality. He was never afraid or intimidated to go back to a seller to ask questions and he was always willing to advocate on my behalf. Mahalo, dear friend. A 5/5 experience working with you as my real estate professional.

ZillowVERIFIED I had gone to see a property with no realtor, just to look and consider the possibility of purchasing a property, and David offered his services to me, and provided great advice that convinced me to purchase a home. The first place he suggested I ended up deciding to put a bid for, and despite my worries of getting into a bidding war, David had managed to word the offer to be the winning bid! The transaction went smoothly though drawn out due to some personal hurdles of mine to address, and we ended up closing successfully, and later rather than never! I highly recommend David for his services!

ZillowVERIFIED I had a great experience with David as my realtor. He is very professional, kind, and knowledgeable. He makes you feel comfortable with the decisions you make. He is also there if you have any questions and responds quickly. The day we met, he showed me and my significant other the unit, we fell in love with the unit, decided to go with him as our realtor instead of the one we currently had (theres just something about him), put an offer the next day, and found out our offer was accepted the following day. During the rest of the escrow process he would always update us until we got our keys. Definitely recommend David!

ZillowVERIFIED We had the pleasure of working with David in mid February in search of an apartment as a second home. David took the information we provided him with as in the location we're interested in and what our max amount we were willing to spend and sent us emails everyday of listing of properties that we could look into. Any properties that we were interested in he was able to get us in to see either the next day or the same day. David made this whole experience for us smooth, stress free, relaxing and helpful. He answered any questions we had and also gave us his advice when we asked. We're so happy that we found David because of him we got the apartment we wanted and closed on it in March. David only has his clients best interest at heart and that's what makes David an awesome individual and realtor. He's quick to respond to you and will have you looking at places of your interest asap. I will definitely recommend him to my family and friends.

ZillowVERIFIED We started working with David in November and he has been incredibly fantastic throughout. We went in unsure of what we were looking for with just a vague checklist and a budget and he helped us turn that into an actual home purchase. We hit some snags along the way but he helped us tackle them all. I'm incredibly grateful for his kindness and expertise.

ZillowVERIFIED During the whole process, David was very energetic and proactive. Always responsive no matter what time of day. Able to explain the necessary strategies for competing in this highly competitive market. We almost gave up on the process until David, "our genie" managed to find a home we couldn't turn down.

ZillowVERIFIED Buying our first investment property had its challenges. Especially since it was a foreclosure property. Having David made the purchasing process flow smoothly despite the lack of communication on the sellers side. David responded to our requests even through the most aggravating times. He was always there by phone or in person. Someone we could count on. Through this time of pandemic he got things done even with delays from the sellers and horribly slow response from the escrow company. He was our support through thick and thin. Thank you David, you are the best!

ZillowVERIFIED The experience with David was excellent; but the experience with the inspection guy of defects in the property was substandard. I found many more defects in the property that was listed in his report. I do believe David is a first rate realtor and he continually kept us informed on what was going on with the progress of the details involved with the closing. I would recommend him to other people that I know and give him a top 10 rating.

ZillowVERIFIED David was great! He helped us go through the home buying process and explained how everything works. As first time home buyers we felt super comfortable in the entire process with his help. David helped us look at different properties and find the right one for us. I would recommend him to anyone thats in the market to buy a home, experienced or not. He made a lot of effort to keep our needs in mind and was great at communicating with us throughout the entire process. If we are ever in the market again, we would definitely go back to David for help.
