Our family has lived in Ridgewood since the 1920s; we know it well and we have high expectations as to investing in long term real estate. I have been buying and selling our personal residences for 30 years in many different states. When my opportunity came to permanently return to Bergen County, I really wanted to work with the best agent. I interviewed David and immediately saw that he was an extremely intelligent, financially savvy, knowledgeable, and a kind person. We were returning to the Ridgewood area after living out of the area for many years. When living so far away and trying to find a new house, the time constraints and stress presented additional challenges for our family. David was excellent at managing his time and ours so that we were in constant, direct communication with him at all times. When you call David, he answers his own phone, no assistant or delays in reaching him. David immediately responds to all calls and is ready with well thought out information and answers. He really knows the current pulse of the Bergen County market. We were open to the ideas of either buying a house to be renovated to our specifications or to buy a renovated home. When we began our search, we were unsure if we wanted to be further out in the Franklin Lakes or Upper Saddle River areas, or closer in to the Ridgewood/Glen Rock/Paramus areas. David was very patient at guiding us through all the choices each area had to offer, and also offering his expert opinion as to the pluses and minuses to each property; and what we would need to do to each property to get it to favor our living expectations. The market in Spring 2026 was highly competitive. David was excellent at skillfully presenting our offer to a seller that was entertaining multiple offers. Our offer was accepted, and David continued to be right at our side throughout the inspection process and onward to closing on the property. David is still available to our phone calls after closing on the house. We cannot more highly recommend him.
