Dave is a GREAT agent! After trying unsuccessfully to get any traction with another agent for months, we signed on with Dave and within two weeks had doubled the showings we had had in 6 months under the previous agent! Not only did he sell the house, he got us a great price and stayed hands on the entire way. Maui, I have learned from agents on Oahu, is known for lazy real estate agents. Lots of people put up a sign and wait for a call. Dave hustles for you and if we are any example, that hustle pays off. No question that he is one of the best on Maui and anyone selling would be lolo not to use him. Mahalo Dave! You da best!

This transaction was the most challenging in that we bought a house under construction, 2500 miles away. Add to that the COVID19 restrictions preventing travel to Maui to supervise the construction. Dave stepped up acted as our liason between the builder and kept us updated with the progress via video chat and relayed his observations to us almost daily. Even after the completion of the house, he is assisting us with some of the logistics of our move. I highly recommend him to any one looking for a realtor to represent you if you are a local or out of state.

ZillowVERIFIED To consider the purchase of a house 3,500 miles away in the middle of the pacific was a very big commitment. We had looked at single family property on Maui for a few years but just didnt fined that one, got to have property. We began to seriously reconsider Hokulani Golf Villas as a possibility. We had looked at the property a few years earlier but the pricing just didnt fit our budget. With renewed interest we visited Hokulani and were pleased to see flexibility in design finishes and a more competitive pricing structure. Dave was Director of sales for Hokulani Golf Villas and was very willing to take the time needed to understand our interests and must haves. Selling property without show homes is a challenge. Dave was able to visually present the various floor plans and tied those to specific build sites. We arranged several meetings with Dave over several weeks and he was always available for us. He arranged meeting with the contractor and the critical suppliers so we could get our concerns/questions addressed. Dave got us through the purchase process and assisted in preparation of documents required by the lending institutions. During the buildout period Dave kept us updated on progress through photos he provided. Dave Richardson isnt a sell and forget person. He is very professional and will remain a part of your team. Through a series of events, I came into my parents' place and had to sell it this year. Dave listened to my worries and understood the heartbreak I had in having to sell the unit that had been in my family for 20 years. He's such a professional and yet very caring, if you don't want someone who has lived on Maui for more than 35 years, and really knows their ins and outs of how the island life works, then I suggest you someplace else. I just feel blessed to have had an opportunity to know him and experience working with him first hand. Couldn't be happier with how things went. I will miss him.
