ZillowVERIFIEDDave's entire team was absolutely fantastic to work with! Beth gave us huge amounts of information on houses we were looking to buy in Covina and Dave made sure to protect our interest in our home in Duarte. They made the concurrent sale and buy of our homes feel very easy and were very reassuring in what could have become a very stressful situation. They built our trust from the first meeting and continued to earn it through the entire process. This group works as a true team, and everyone was so clear and easy to work with. Their communication was top notch and they guided us through every single step. Thank you Dave Knight Team!

ZillowVERIFIED Wow - Dave and team were exceptional in every regard throughout the whole process of purchasing our new home in La Crescenta! Dave and team's communication with us was everything we wanted - we were able to understand everything we needed to understand, and we were invited into necessary decision-making processes. Despite the agent on the seller's end being difficult to work with, Dave and team shielded us from as much as possible, and really went to bat for us to work towards the most favorable outcomes possible. They carried us through evaluating multiple homes, making multiple offers, and ultimately through a very short escrow to secure a dream home for us! Dave and team's integrity, work ethic, and kindness were outstanding - I couldn't imagine a better team to trust with the process of buying or selling a home! I would recommend absolutely anyone needing to buy or sell to reach out to Dave!

ZillowVERIFIED After our previous listing expired without success, we were stressed, discouraged and uncertain about what to do next. From the very beginning, Dave Knight and his team stepped in with confidence, clarity, fresh perspective, and a thoughtful strategy that immediately gave us reassurance. Their professionalism, market expertise, and communication alleviated so much of the stress we had been carrying and helped us feel supported every step of the way this time around. The DKRE team didnt just list our home aEUR" they repositioned it, marketed it beautifully, and guided us through every step with patience and skill. ZillowVERIFIED Working with Dave Knight and his incredible team was an absolute pleasure from beginning to end. Their professionalism, integrity, and deep knowledge of the market are unmatched. From our first conversation to closing day, every step was handled with precision, care, and remarkable attention to detail. A special shoutout to Maddie, who was our day-to-day point person and the heartbeat of our experience. She was exceptionally organized, always one step ahead, and seemed to anticipate our needs before we even voiced them. Maddie kept us 100% informed and was completely transparent about next steps, timelines, and communications with the buyer. That level of communication and foresight made the entire process seamless and stress-free. Daves calm assurance and sharp strategic insight guided every decision with confidence. His expertise in pricing and timing was spot-on, and thanks to his strategy, we sold our home above asking price! What truly sets Dave apart is his compassion and genuine care for his clients. Selling and moving your life can be emotional and stressful, yet Daves steady presence and empathy cushioned every bump in the road. He understood that this was not just a transaction, but the closing of one chapter and the beginning of another, and he handled that transition with heart and humanity. Beyond their exceptional skill and professionalism, there is a warmth and sincerity to this team that is rare to find. They care deeply about the people they serve, and it shows in every interaction. In short, Dave Knight and his team represent the gold standard in real estate. If you want a team that combines expertise, compassion, and flawless communication and delivers results beyond expectations, look no further. They made what could have been a stressful process genuinely enjoyable and rewarding.

ZillowVERIFIED I was very impressed with Dave Knight when I interviewed him as a sellers agent but due to a disagreement with my Ex partner I was unable to use Dave Knight Real Estate Team to sell my home, but even though we used a different team to sell Dave was willing to answer questions and guide me in decisions along the way. At one point I needed a small hard money loan to do some home repairs before photos and I was unable to get a loan due to a short timeline and current employment. I tried several options but none were able to help me in a short time frame. Dave Personally offered to loan me the money based on our personal relationship and really helped me through a tricky situation. Once the home sold I repaid Dave and he celebrated the successful sale with me. When you choose to work with the Dave Knight Realty team, you're getting a team led by Dave knight, a person with integrity who cares more about making the real estate process work as smoothly for you as he can and who will go above and beyond to help along the way.

ZillowVERIFIED I had a great experience with Dave Knight and his team in selling my aunt's home. I found Dave Knight to be refreshingly honest. In addition, he used an intelligent strategy for selling the house, which wound up selling way above the initial asking price. His team was well coordinated, and they all were very accommodating, energetic, and responsive.

ZillowVERIFIED In late 2023, my parents decided to sell their home, in order to downsize and live closer to family. They immediately faced two daunting and potentially overwhelming challenges: cleaning out 40 years of personal belongings and memories, and listing a home during an uncertain housing market. Esther Clauson led my parents through the cleanout process with compassion, and priced their home for maximum profit after astutely analyzing market conditions. Esther and her team at Dave Knight Real Estate quickly arranged for transformative renovations and staging; home listing was launched on January 4, 2024. Seven offers were received on January 16th. Esther advised my parents on counteroffers; all seven offers responded positively. The best offer was accepted on January 18th, and escrow closed on February 12th. Thank you Esther, for your invaluable experience and expertise. You helped my parents achieve financial security, and enabled them to be near family during their golden years. Thanks also to the following members of the Dave Knight Real Estate Team: Janna, Madeline, Louise, Taylor, Beth, Deon, and Anthony. We wish you all continued success and recognition.

ZillowVERIFIED Dave Knight and his team helped us sell our family home and we are very satisfied with the experience and with the outcome of the sale. Dave took time to meet with us personally and walked us through what we could expect. He was an expert in the area market and helped us price the house accordingly. He was trustworthy, competent, and patient with our concerns. Once the decision was made to proceed with the sale of the home, we were impressed with the professionalism of those who coordinated and assisted us. We were very satisfied with the experience and the outcome of the sale. We highly recommend this company.

ZillowVERIFIED We worked with Anthony House (appropriately named!) as our buyers agent for our first home buying experience. I highly recommend him for anyone looking to buy a home! From the beginning, he was extremely hardworking and responsive to every question we had. Even when he did not immediately know an answer, he would find out and get back to us very promptly. He always made an effort to be available - even making time to do counter offers during the week of Christmas (I wish he hadnt needed to do so, but it really shows his hustle!). His kind and patient advice carried us through the offering, inspecting, and negotiating phases, and we were able to close on what we consider the absolute best house of all houses (in our budget and size range). Also he made all the phone calls for scheduling inspections!! I'm a standard millennial terrified of phone calls and people, so that was a huge bonus I didnt know about. What I really loved was that there was never any real pressure to go above our budget or rush into any decisions. Anthony consistently checked in right up to closing to make sure the vibes were still good and we had no regrets. He was completely transparent about everything in the process, even selflessly giving advice on some possible sale routes that would not have netted him his commission (we did not go that route, but wow! I was impressed). We felt safe and well taken care of. As other reviewers mentioned, the assistance did not end at closing. Anthony is always ready with referrals. Oh thats the other thing - these folks have the numbers for some really great contractors, loan officers, tradespeople, and movers; thats like half the value of working with them! The other support folks we worked with at Dave Knight Real Estate (Maddy, Amber, Louise) were completely amazing through escrow. No question went unanswered (even my dumb ones), and they were not afraid to run down the listing agents team when things were needed! The team also hosts occasional buyers seminars that are so so informative and helpful. I highly recommend going to one of those to start off the search. You wont remember all of it, but it gives you the basis for a lot of the home buying jargon. Getting into this process was so extremely overwhelming, but Anthony and his team went beyond expectations to ease our anxious burden and help us achieve the American dream of homeownership for real!

ZillowVERIFIED Thanks to Esther Clauson and the Dave Knight Real Estate Team, we are in an amazing home for our family. Esther and every member of her team went above and beyond, helping us with both the sale of our former home and the purchase of the new one. Amber's longevity and contacts in the industry helped us to close our new home amid multiple offers. As we prepared for the sale of our old home, Janna dealt with mutliple vendors (electric, plumbing, HVAC, painters) with logistical magic and exceptional results, as if it were her own home. And Esther excelled at finding solutions and comunicating with agents to solve thorny issues that might complicate our sale. Caring, knowledgeable and wise, her expertise and advice was invaluable to us at every step of the process. To top it all off, the team is a well-oiled machine with many members supporting us through the process. Patient, professional, and above all kind, we can't recommend this team enough. Thank you, Dave Knight Team, we couldn't have done this without you!

ZillowVERIFIED The Dave Knight Real Estate Team is far and away the BEST real estate group we've had the pleasure with which to work. From our first meeting with Dave to our last communication with his team members, we were always met with "can do" attitudes and an obvious desire to make our experience as positive as possible. Dave worked with us to sell our home of 30 years. It was our first time selling a home. His team walked us through step by step, answered our questions, and sold our home quickly and above the asking price. We have since purchased a new home in another state and worked with multiple agents. Suffice it to say, we wish Dave and his team had moved with us. The service he and his team provided was head and shoulders above anything else we've experienced. Dave's exceptional leadership abilities are obvious in all he does and have been instilled in his team. You can't go wrong with the Dave Knight Real Estate Team!

ZillowVERIFIED From day one I felt as though we were in very capable hands. We were selling a property from out of state, and so communication was key. Dave, Amber and Madeline were easy to reach when I had questions, were flawless in their follow up, and were very forthright in sharing their years of knowledge and expertise when issues came up throughout the course of the escrow. Knowing they have so much experience in the industry made it easy to trust them during negotiations. It was a fairly lengthy escrow and the team worked continually to make sure we got to a close. Their 'team approach' is something else that truly sets them apart, each person carrying out the duties they are best at; we felt very well represented. They truly cared about all parties involved; it felt very personal, which is important to me. They set a very high bar.

ZillowVERIFIED Dave Knight and his team did an incredible job helping me sell my father's house after he passed away. His strategies were spot on for what to fix on the house, how to price it, and the process to list it, show it, and collect and negotiate offers. Net result was that we got many multiple offers on the property and ended up closing with a motivated buyer at a great price. His operations team is professional, responsive, patient, and extremely competent. Their vendor network is excellent, including cleaning out the house (balancing estate sale vs. donation vs. landfill), making key repairs that maximized impact per dollar spent, and staging the property beautifully. They even had a vendor that helped me sell multiple cars with a very reasonable split of the proceeds. I live in a different city and Dave's team handled everything locally while we coordinated via phone and email. Losing a parent is difficult, and taking care of their affairs makes it even harder. Dave and his team were and continue to be a huge, positive bright spot for me throughout this process.

ZillowVERIFIED Selling our family home was an emotional decision. We needed a sellers agent that we could not only trust, but who could also hold our hand throughout the entire process. Esther Clauson not only perfectly fulfilled this roll, but she went beyond our expectations by consoling and empowering us to make the best decisions in preparing our home to sell. Esther immediately introduced us to the Admin Team who were on board with the entire process. Each individual played a role in prepping the home. They gave us recommendations on marketing, painting, staging and landscaping. We took everything to heart and followed their advice to a T. Thanks to the great teamwork, our first open house had over 80 potential buyers! Not only did we get over asking, but our property seamlessly sold in 30 days. I highly recommend Esther Clauson and the Dave Knight Team to anyone looking to buy or sell a home. You will be in great hands!

ZillowVERIFIED As first-time buyers, we had a great experience working with the Dave Knight team generally and with Luis in particular. ZillowVERIFIED As a estate accountant for many years I've worked with and observed many wealth transfer professionals doing their best to assist clients who can feel lost during an estate administration. All this happens during a time when the survivors are dealing with loss and being asked to carry out the demands of tax and estate demands. When my aunt passed, Dave was the first person we called. Dave and his teams assessed the property, assisted us with obtaining short term capital, assisted us with clearing and readying the property for sale, staged the property and eventually sold property at a level much higher than appraised. I just don't know why anyone would go anywhere else. Thanks Dave and to the whole team!

ZillowVERIFIED Outstanding is the only way to describe the service from Dave and his team. We have both bought and sold through the Dave Knight team and they were brilliant on both occasions. We do not live in the USA and are not familiar with the buying and selling process, but they made both buying and selling an incredibly smooth journey for us. In particular, we have recently sold our Pasadena town house through them and the care, attention to detail and communication were outstanding. Once our tenant vacated, they quickly assessed the property, advised us of their recommendations to get it ready for market and arranged for all the vendors to complete their work prior to staging and photography. Once completed, the open homes were conducted and we were kept fully informed on each day of the open - couldn't have asked for better communication which is so important when you live on the other side of the world! Offers were received and Dave personally stepped us through the pros and cons of each one and quickly guided us to a second round of offers and then a signed contract. The steps through escrow can be a little intimidating when you are not familiar with them, but once again the team stepped us through the process in detail and assisted throughout the process. We never felt alone and unsure. As a real estate professional working in Australia, I recognize great service when I see it. I cannot recommend them more highly.

ZillowVERIFIED As I prepared to sit my family down to Thanksgiving feast with all the fixings, I said a little prayer of gratitude for the fabulous Dave Knight Real Estate Team. I drempt of inviting my thirty plus family to a formal Thanksgiving holiday celebration for years and of having enough room for sleep overs. Alas, my home of 25 years was too small. With the purchase of our spacious dream house, it was the first time in 25 years that I was able to invite family to a formal sit-down Thanksgiving dinner. The Dave Knight Team made my dream come true. The team was an absolute joy to work with from day one. The sale of my home was a nail bitter. The market just changed and the buyer met with needless banking red tape. The team held my husband and my hand every step of the way. Not one person stood out, I can honestly say that they are all STANDOUTS! My husband and I are deeply in their debt.

ZillowVERIFIED We hired the Dave Knight Real Estate team because they focus on representing sellers, are listing specialists, and have experience with trust sales--but they were so much more than that. Esther Clausen and Dave Knight are the best at what they do, and they are the nicest people. Whether it was easing our concerns regarding dual agency, explaining legalese, or assuaging fears related to pricing, they did so with kindness, care and respect. They also have a fantastic and capable support team, each with their own expertise, but who also work well together as a team. Special thanks to Janna, Amber, Maddie and May, who were very hands-on, super responsive and stayed on top of things from start to finish. With their help and network of resources, we were able to spruce up the house and list within a week's time (no small feat)! We got multiple offers over list price and closed escrow in just a little over a month's time. The DKRE team also helped us find a wonderful estate liquidation company. This was a life saver, since we needed to clear out within 30 days! We are very thankful and blessed to have had the DKRE team helping to sell our house, and we would wholeheartedly recommend them.

ZillowVERIFIED It was a great decision to get the DK team to represent us in selling the house. They are very professional and experts in the real estate business. Their intelligence, experience and reliance on data allows them ( with a realistic approach ) to read whatever the market presents at a given period in the ups and downs of the housing market. Inspite of the changing market conditions facing a potential downturn, our house was put in escrow fairly quickly in a matter of 3 weeks. We are very pleased and thankful to all the members of the Dave Knight team who made the process to be very smooth and organized with their constant connection communicating via email, text and calls updating us in every step even from the time of preparing the house for listing until the end of closing. We are very pleased and grateful for this journey with them in reaching a great outcome for this major life endeavor. We highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to buy or sell their homes. They are genuinely honest, sincere and really caring to their clients in fulfilling their real estate needs. Special mention to Esther and Luis, Janna , Madeline, Dave and Amber, Deon. ZillowVERIFIED Dave Knight and his entire team made the sale of my 90 yo dad's home a seamless, pleasant experience. The team was always available to answer and help with any questions we had. Dave Knight's team made selling the family home where my dad had lived for 58 years an easy and pleasant experience, while at the same advising us on the necessary financial details. Amber took charge before the house went on the market and worked tirelessly to help us get the home ready to show by supplying us with all the needed vendors (hauling, estate sales, painting, cleaning, yard cleanup, plumbers etc) and being onsite to coordinate it all. Amber had a vision of how to stage the home and it worked! We fully trusted Dave's experience and took his advice on all matters. ZillowVERIFIED Rich and the rest of the Dave Knight Team are great! My wife and I used Rich to buy our first home and we can't imagine having done so with any other agent. Through the process, Rich proved time and time again his willingness to explain the how things work, to go to bat for us when issues presented themselves, and to make us feel very well taken care of. When important decisions had to be made, Rich did a great job of explaining pros and cons but still giving us space to make our own decisions. Most importantly, we felt we could trust Rich. ZillowVERIFIED Rich is just fantastic. I've dealt with many realtors on my life, and he really is the best out there. Knowledgeable, well experienced, and super smart. He studied law and as a former military, he really gets it done in a professional way. I'd highly, in fact, I'd ONLY recommend Rich anyone who is out there shopping for their new dream home. Thank you Rich and Dave Knight team!

ZillowVERIFIED We were very happy with the Dave Knight team. We have no complaints whatsoever. As out-of-state sellers, we especially appreciated the consistently reliable communication they provided about what was happening with our specific property and the local market conditions generally. We also appreciated Dave's patient discussions with us regarding decisions on pricing and negotiating with the seller. The staging company they recommended did a fine job, and we think it helped with the sale. The escrow company they recommended was very efficient; we appreciated their arranging a notary over Labor Day weekend. All in all, the whole process went about as smoothly as we could ever have imagined thanks to the Dave Knight team.

ZillowVERIFIED My family was selling our home of 32 years and there were many emotions connected to the sale. Dave and his team not only did what you would expect any real estate team to do but went well over and above. They provided me with the additional support and assistance I needed because of extenuating circumstances within my family. If I asked for help, I got it. If I needed help, at times Dave and his team offered the help before I could ask. We trust the Dave Knight team and would do business with them again in a heart beat!
