Initially, when I first met Darin, I could tell he wanted to sell my property. I think he thought it might be a quick sale. Surprise, he had to work a little bit and tolerate some rejections. He was super involved and kept me up to date on the whole process and any issues that came up and walked me through them with ease. Then a little over a year after buying my house I had to sell my parents house and property. So I went back to Darin since he was so great at the buying process I decided to see how he was at selling. I tried the for sale by owner rout and only had 2 showings! I said enough and called Darin, he walked me through the process with ease. All of my questions were answered and I never felt foolish or made to feel dumb for not knowing. The day the house went on the market we had 8 requests for showings with offers and by the 3 day we had over 18 showings and multiple offers. For more than asking price. I sat down with him and he went over all of the pros and cons of each offer. There was no pressure from him on which one to choose. He even made closing a breeze! My only regret is that my late mother was not around to see how well things turned out. I am glad you agreed selling my family home having done these improvements was money well spent $$$. It was important to me to showcase the home in the best light. I wanted the next owner to move into the home and begin living in it without having to spend countless hours making improvements to the home before enjoying it. Sometimes challenging real estate norms is a good thing. Established market sales, or a lack there of, should not always be the basis for selling your home, especially in a sellers market. We were EXTREMELY picky with our home selection and he stuck with us the entire way. We went through a few different agents who ghosted us when we didnt put an offer in on the first property we viewed. Darin is different, he stuck with us and even encouraged us when we felt as though we would never find the perfect home. Looking for a new home in the Rockford area in the current market conditions can be VERY daunting. However, I can say without a shadow of a doubt, Darin made it easier than I could have imagined. Then, when we finally did find the perfect home, we nearly lost the property due to the slow reaction time of what I had thought would be my lender. Darin swung in with a friend of his who had my financing worked out in just a few minutes!
