Darby would act as my 'boots on the ground' person during the visit, accompanying me and helping to refine my needs and preferences since she was more familiar with the area. Darby escorted me through the homes my mother and I expressed interested in seeing. She was able to facilitate the visit of approximately 20 homes within a 72-hour period. Additionally, she was able to deal with the vagueness in describing property details that were important to us. She assisted with identifying and refining our scope and locating properties that would be a possible fit. She vetted my nightly lists of homes, explaining why visiting certain homes would not be a wise use of time, suggesting a visiting order, making all appointments, and recording my responses. She also aided me in staying on task, making sure the home characteristics that were priorities for us were in each property we visited. I was impressed both by her work ethic in preparing our visits list and her stamina while visiting as many homes as we could during the day, regardless of the distance between them. She dealt calmly with the obvious time constraints during my long weekend visit and was always informative and professional. She also understood our timeline, suggesting we make a competitive offer immediately on a property that ultimately became our new home.
