Community Involvement
Community isn't something I just talk about -- it's something I'm actively part of. After serving 21 years in the U.S. Army, I made the decision that I wasn't done serving. I just shifted the uniform. Today, my family and I are deeply involved in the Colorado Springs and military community, giving back in ways that matter: o Supporting Military & Veteran Families through PCS guidance, VA education classes, and relocation assistance o Partnering with Local Businesses to highlight and uplift the people who make Colorado Springs special o Coaching, mentoring, and developing new agents, especially military spouses looking for career growth and flexibility o Hosting annual client appreciation events, holiday drives, and community meet-ups to keep families connected o Actively engaged at Fort Carson, Peterson SFB, Schriever SFB, and USAFA, helping inbound and outbound military families transition smoothly o Cork & Rye Mobile Bar -- our local family-owned business -- supports community events, weddings, fundraisers, and veteran-centered gatherings For us, community is about showing up, consistently, with heart and purpose. This isn't just where I work -- this is home. And I'll always serve it that way.
HOBBIES/INTEREST
Outside of real estate, my life is centered around family, community, and growth. I'm a husband and a father first -- so much of my time is spent cheering on my kids at their activities, grilling in the backyard, or just being present with my family. We also love exploring the beauty of Colorado Springs -- from hiking local trails to discovering new coffee shops and local spots around town. I'm big into fitness and self-improvement, and you'll often find me training, staying active, or pushing myself mentally and physically. I'm a believer in always working to become the best version of yourself -- and that shows up in the way I serve my clients and lead my team. My wife and I also run Cork & Rye Mobile Bar, where we get to be part of weddings, celebrations, and community events -- it's another way we stay connected to the heartbeat of our city. But more than anything -- I love meeting people, building relationships, and being involved in the community I call home. That's who we are. That's what The PCS Team is about. From Service to SOLD -- and from SOLD to COMMUNITY.
FAMILY
Family is everything to me. I'm a husband and a father before I'm anything else. My wife, Edith, is my partner in life and in business -- she's the heart behind The PCS Team and the backbone of our family. She's walked with me through deployments, relocations, uncertainty, and new beginnings, and together we've built a life anchored in faith, resilience, and community. We have beautiful children who remind us daily what this is all for. They are our why. They're the reason we work hard, stay focused, and continue to grow -- not just for success, but to set an example of what it means to serve others with integrity and heart. Our home is filled with love, laughter, and the same real-life chaos every family experiences -- school, sports, homework, dinner at the counter, weekends cheering from the sidelines, and slowing down enough to appreciate the moment. When I help someone buy or sell a home, I don't just see a house -- I see a place where a family's story is going to unfold. That's why we take this work seriously. Because we know personally what "home" means. This business is not about transactions -- it's about people, family, and the lives being lived inside those walls. That's what guides everything we do. From Service to SOLD -- and always, from Family first.

Working with Daniel from The PCS Team was hands down the best real estate experience weve ever hadaEUR"and weve bought and sold six homes! We purchased our new home sight unseen, and Daniel made the entire process seamless. He connected us with a top-notch inspector, roofer, and loan officer, all of whom were exceptional. What really sets Daniel apart is his dedication. Not only did he help us buy our new home, but he also found us a fantastic realtor in Georgia to sell our old one on short notice. When we had issues shipping our car before our PCS, Daniel even received it for us a full week before we arrived. He truly goes above and beyond for his clients. Daniel is knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely cares about making your move stress-free. Hes the G.O.A.T.aEUR"we cant recommend him enough!

What a guy! No hassle and top notch advice. Sold my house in great time frame for great price. Will deal with him again if I am in the area. Know the ins and out of a military move and supports the troops!
1) What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
The best advice I can give any buyer—especially if you’re new to the process or moving here on PCS orders—is this: don’t try to do it alone. The market changes every single week, and who you have guiding you matters more than ever.
Start by building the right team around you. That means a Realtor® who understands your goals, your timeline, and your situation—and if you’re military, someone who understands PCS life, BAH, timelines, and VA loan strategy firsthand. Then, get pre-approved early. This isn’t just about knowing what you can afford—it’s about gaining the edge to act confidently when the right home shows up.
Take your time learning neighborhoods, schools, commute distances, and how your lifestyle fits into the city—not just the house. A home is more than walls and a roof—it’s your life in it.
Lastly, stay patient, stay coachable, and trust the process. The right home is out there, and with the right strategy, we’ll find it.
2) What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
When you’re selling your home, the most important thing to understand is this: the market decides value, but you control the presentation. Your price, your condition, and your marketing are what determine how fast your home sells and the offers you receive.
My advice is simple—prep the home well, price it with purpose, and market it with intention. Little things matter. Clean, declutter, fix the small items, and make the home feel warm, bright, and inviting. First impressions happen in seconds, both online and in person.
Next, work with a Realtor® who doesn’t just put a sign in the yard—someone who knows how to position your home to stand out, understands the local demand, and has a strategy to target the right buyers, not just any buyers.
And finally—stay flexible and trust the process. Markets change, interest rates move, and buyer behavior shifts. But when you have the right plan and the right team, you can sell with confidence, clarity, and strong results.
Our mission is to make this process as seamless and stress-free as possible.
From Service to SOLD — that’s how we do business.
3) What types of clients have you worked with?
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of serving a wide range of clients, but the common thread is that they’re all people and families looking for guidance they can trust. A large part of my work is with active-duty military members, veterans, and their families who are moving in or out of Colorado Springs on PCS orders. As a Retired U.S. Army Warrant Officer, I understand the timelines, the stress, and the reality of making big decisions quickly — I’ve lived it.
I also work with first-time homebuyers, helping them understand the process, financing options, and neighborhood choices so they can plant strong roots. I work with move-up buyers who need to sell their current home and purchase their next, often coordinating both to make the transition seamless. And I’ve helped investors, downsizing families, and local residents who simply want someone they can trust to represent them with integrity.
What I’m most proud of is that the relationship doesn’t end at closing. Many of the families I’ve served have become friends, referrals, and part of our PCS Team community.
At the end of the day — no matter who you are or where you’re coming from — my mission is the same:
Serve first. Communicate clearly. Protect your best interests.
4) Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
There’s one recent transaction that really stayed with me. I was working with a military family who received PCS orders to Colorado Springs with very little notice. They were stressed, unsure, and honestly just trying to hold everything together — kids, timelines, housing, work, all of it. And I understood that feeling deeply because I lived that life for over 21 years.
We started with a clear plan, talked through neighborhoods, schools, commute times, BAH, and what “home” needed to feel like for their family. We walked through homes virtually, coordinated schedules across time zones, and moved fast when the right one hit the market.
When we found it — the match was undeniable.
The right neighborhood.
The right price.
The right fit for the family.
We navigated negotiations, inspections, repairs, and appraisal without drama — because communication was constant, honest, and proactive. The moment they walked into their new home for the first time and said, “This is exactly what we hoped for…” — that’s why I do this.
It wasn’t just a closing.
It was a family getting stability, comfort, and a new chapter — during a stressful transition most people never see behind the scenes.
That’s why we say From Service to SOLD.
Because it’s not about transactions — it’s about taking care of people.
5) How did you get started in Real Estate?
I got started in real estate after retiring from the U.S. Army, where I served 21 years as a Warrant Officer. Like a lot of military families, I experienced the PCS grind—moving every few years, learning new cities overnight, figuring out schools, housing, and finances on the fly. And honestly, I saw too many families go through those transitions without the support they deserved.
When I retired, I asked myself, “Where can I continue serving? Where can I make an impact?” Real estate became the answer—not because of the houses, but because of the people.
I realized that what military families needed wasn’t just a Realtor® — they needed someone who understands their lifestyle, their timelines, and their stress. Someone who could bridge the gap between moving and actually feeling at home.
So I took everything the Army taught me—leadership, integrity, problem solving, and taking care of people—and built The PCS Team. A team rooted in service, trust, and doing the right thing, every single time.
Today, I help military families, veterans, first-time homebuyers, and local residents navigate one of life’s biggest decisions with clarity, confidence, and care.
That’s what From Service to SOLD means to us.
This isn’t just a career.
It’s the continuation of a mission.
6) Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
Yes — a big part of what allows me to serve my clients well comes from both my military background and my continued training in real estate. I spent 21 years in the U.S. Army as a Chief Warrant Officer, where I learned leadership, planning, negotiation, and how to solve problems under pressure. Those skills transfer directly into helping families buy and sell homes with confidence and clarity.
On the real estate side, I’ve completed advanced training in:
• Military Relocation & PCS Support
• VA Loan Strategy & $0 Down Purchasing
• Negotiation & Contract Structuring
• Listing Preparation, Pricing Strategy & Market Positioning
• First-Time Homebuyer Guidance & Education
I also work closely with lenders who specialize in VA, Conventional, FHA, and USDA loans, so my clients always have the right financing support behind them.
But more important than certifications is this — I’ve lived the same life many of my clients are living. I understand PCS timelines, BAH planning, school decisions, and the stress of picking up your life and moving it across the country.
So yes, I have training.
But what benefits my clients most is real experience, real understanding, and real commitment to serving at a high level.
From Service to SOLD — that’s how we operate.
