In this white-hot seller?s market for Lake Sunapee property, the two other agents who had waterfront listings were unresponsive and ignored us, putting us at a clear disadvantage. Dan and Leigh were different. They were so genuine and helpful, taking us seriously in our quest to purchase a lakefront home. First they took our expressed interest seriously, then helped us land that open house home ? a Lake Sunapee waterfront home that best fit our needs and exceeded anything else we saw with the other two agencies. This was just the beginning. They recommended a local attorney to handle closing. As closing approached and some issues surfaced, they interfaced with the seller to amicably resolve our specific problems. I first called Dan on a Thursday afternoon, had a quick chat with him about my family, and what we were looking for, and sent him some links to places we'd found listed online. That Saturday we were in his car, being given a tour of the area, lots of trivia, food and beer recommendations, and info on annual town happenings, while he took us around to see some houses and learn more in person what we were looking for. The following Sunday he took us out again to see more places that were all just what we were looking for (he definitely listened to everything we were saying the week before!) and we put in an offer on the house we now own on Monday!
