I have been inside the walls of the homes I sell. Before real estate, I ran the field side of a home remodeling business, so I know what goes into building a house, not just how to list one. When I walk a new construction home or a property that needs work, I am reading the structure, the build quality, and the decisions a builder made long before the finishes went in. Most agents can name the framing. I can tell you whether it was built right.
I work in Bethesda and the surrounding luxury markets in Maryland, Virginia, and DC, with a focus on new construction and custom homes. My clients are usually making one of the largest financial decisions of their lives, and what they tell me they value most is that I am responsive, honest with them about what the market is actually saying, and steady when the deal gets complicated. I tell you what I would do, not what you want to hear. Then I stay on top of it until it is done.
I also have relationships most agents do not. Developers and builders I have worked with for years bring me deals before they hit the market, which means my clients see homes their competition never gets a look at.
If you are buying or selling in Bethesda, and you want someone who understands what is behind the finish and will be honest with you the whole way through, that is the work I do.
