Initially having no agent, my wife and I stopped by an open house that the Gouveia team was showing, met Lindsey and Dan there, and decided upon leaving to continue working with them. We're happy to have made that decision. From that point we mostly worked with Lindsey. We had some specific needs, and not once did she try to push us to purchase something that did not meet those requirements, which in my limited real estate experience, and from stories I've heard from friends, is an all too common practice in this field.Lindsey was willing and happy to show us countless homes in person, some even quite a distance from Taunton, the primary area in which we were looking. Throughout the entire process, Lindsey and everyone else involved were attentive but not overbearing, even when our busy lives had us coming down to the wire on deadlines and such. They let the property sit and got no action. As soon as the contract expired I hired Dan. When I explained this to him, he was argumentative and kept emailing me and was totally being unprofessional. I am SO glad I went with another agent. Can you imagine an agent getting mad because your giving them feedback and explaining you already saw a property and why you went with another agent?! I even forwarded my emails and call log to show him that I was contacting him for some time but he kept sending unprofessional emails. I've never met an agent like that. Shouldn't work with customers if you don't know how to be professional.

He helped me determine a fair asking price, arranged to have a member of his team help stage my home, and brought in a professional photographer to make sure my home looked it's best in the online photos. Dan decided to list my home online as "coming soon", along with those pictures, and he determined that an open house would be the first opportunity for anyone to view my condo.
