The best advice I would give a buyer is to get prepared before you start looking. Talk with a trusted lender, get pre-approved, and understand your true monthly payment — not just the sales price. Once you know your budget, work with a local real estate professional who can help you understand the market, compare homes, review property values, and protect you through the offer, inspection, appraisal, and closing process. I also tell buyers not to fall in love too quickly. Look at the home, but also look at the location, condition, resale value, neighborhood, commute, taxes, insurance, and any future repairs that may be needed. The right home is not just the one that looks good online — it is the one that fits your lifestyle, your budget, and your long-term goals.

The best advice I would give a seller is to prepare before you list. A successful sale starts with the right pricing strategy, strong presentation, and a clear plan for how your home will be marketed. Before going on the market, take care of small repairs, declutter, clean, and make the home as easy as possible for buyers to picture themselves living there. First impressions matter, both online and in person. Pricing is also key. The highest list price is not always the best strategy. A home that is priced correctly from the beginning usually gets more attention, stronger showings, and better offers. I also recommend working with a local real estate professional who understands your market, knows how to position your home, and can help you navigate showings, offers, inspections, appraisal, negotiations, and closing. Selling a home is not just about putting a sign in the yard — it is about creating the right strategy to help you sell with the least stress and the best possible result.

Yes. I have a strong background in real estate, compliance, education, and training that helps me guide clients with confidence. I have been in the real estate and mortgage industry for more than 20 years, and I am a licensed real estate broker in multiple states. I am also a North Carolina Certified Real Estate Instructor and the owner/director of a real estate school, where I teach agents about contracts, compliance, agency, pricing, negotiations, and risk management. That training benefits my clients because I do not just help them buy or sell a home — I help them understand the process, avoid common mistakes, review their options clearly, and make informed decisions from start to finish. My goal is to make sure my clients feel educated, protected, and confident every step of the way.
