There was approximately a year of me searching on and off, looking at about 3-5 houses seriously. After finding the right house, Dana was able to show it to me very soon. I put a bid on the property. Dana worked carefully and diligently (even around the Christmas holiday) to make sure that all deadlines and requirements were met. The HUD process that we had to go through for this particular home is notoriously difficult and she did a great job working with me to make sure I understood the process, and everything went smoothly. I was also very happy with the contacts Dana provided as well- Including loan officers, inspectors, etc. They were important to getting the best deal and having a smooth transaction. Dana was very supportive throughout the entire process, is passionate about her work, and I'm glad I got to buy my first home with her help!

Even before we confirmed we would work with her, she spent an hour with us to walk us through the home buying process and everything in a typical contract, so that we were comfortable at every stage when we were ready to make our first offer. She was proactive and timely with reaching out about new properties that she thought we would like, and she really listened to our priorities and identified properties based on those. I was amazed at her responsiveness too-- every time we had a question (which was a lot) she was always on top of answering typically within an hour and keeping us posted along the way. Ultimately, she identified a house that she was selling and was coming on the market soon as a property we would love, and negotiated with her sellers to let us see it before it came on the market -- and it was the perfect place for us! She was very proactive in setting up viewings of homes as they came on the market where time was a major factor (as we were attempting to buy into a very hot area at the time). Houses we were interested in typically went sale pending before the open house even occurred, so being able to see houses the day they were listed or the day after was very important to finding a home. It was an arduous process due to this competitiveness, but we found the home that was perfect for us and Dana's help was a key part of finding and negotiating that sale. Dana knew the neighborhoods (Oakley/Mt. Lookout/Hyde Park/Columbia Tusculum were our main focal points during our search) extremely well and walked us through each step of the process. She offered advice regarding whether she felt the houses we were interested in were listed at a fair price or if it was too low or too high, which informed the offer we made. During closing, she made sure we stayed on track for our closing date and got all the paperwork needed done with time to spare. She has a great working relationship with our lender as well as the listing agent so everything went very smoothly from the time we made our offer until the time we closed on the house. I highly recommend Dana and, should it come time for us to sell our house somewhere down the line, she will be the agent I call.

ZillowVERIFIEDI really cannot say enough good things about working with Dana. My husband and I were first time home buyers and very inexperienced with the entire process. Dana was patient and helpful in answering all of our questions and showing us an ample amount of homes. Most of our showings were scheduled on short notice due to the fast pace of the current market with houses being under contract within the first day but this was never an issue for us. Dana was always available and usually contacting us first to let us know something had come on the market within the last few minutes and that we could schedule a showing that day if interested. Sometimes she was able to get us into houses before they were on the market as well. We had quit the experience of being outbid above asking on some homes we loved but she was supportive through the entire experience and stuck with us until we found our house. Some places I needed to walk through again or stand inside trying to visualize for a while and she was always patient with me during these times as well. We were looking in the Hyde Park, Oakley, Mt. Lookout, and Columbia-Tusculum areas and found our new home in Oakley. Dana is very knowledge of the area and well connected with other house related professionals.
