Dan Tomasi

Dan Tomasi is a San Diego real estate broker and advisor who represents buyers and sellers throughout San Diego County. A Broker Associate (California DRE #01851821) and Executive Manager of Sales for Douglas Elliman's San Diego region, Dan has worked in residential real estate since 1998. His experience spans brokerage, property valuation, construction, development, marketing, negotiation, and sales leadership-giving clients a deeper understanding of how real estate is valued, positioned, purchased, and sold.

As a listing agent, Dan approaches every property as its own market. Before recommending a price or marketing strategy, he studies the home's competitive position, distinctive attributes, likely buyer profile, and the conditions influencing demand. Dan began his career as an appraiser's apprentice, establishing a foundation in market analysis and property valuation that continues to shape his approach today. He later served as Vice President of Premier Coastal Development and Director of Operations for Premier Custom Homes. His development experience included custom residences in La Jolla and more than 50 residential projects throughout San Diego County and Arizona. In those leadership roles, Dan helped guide the acquisition and sale of more than 1,600 residential units, representing over $733 million in combined real estate transactions.

That background gives Dan a perspective extending well beyond the traditional purchase or sale. He understands the full life cycle of residential real estate-from feasibility, planning, and construction to pricing, marketing, negotiation, and closing. It allows him to recognize both value and potential challenges that may not be immediately apparent.
