About Dan Ritter
First and foremost, I'm a proud husband and father.
Home renovations have always been a creative outlet for me. What started as me buying and renovating my first home at 23, evolved into doing projects for friends, or at church. I feel fulfilled being able to help people through my creative outlet. And now I'd love to be able to take the lessons I've learned in life and my love for homes and become your advocate. The person you trust to help you find the place where you feel safe and can build the life you love.

FAQ
1) Truly know your limitations/budget. 2) Don't play the risk game and assume you'll make X-amount by this time next year. 3) Pre-approvals give you your boundary. 4) Ask all of the questions you want. 5) More is involved in the value of the home than just the appraisal.
You and your agents success depends on 5 key things: 1) Our relationship is number 1, 2) Pricing, 3) Online presence (including proper photos that have clean lighting, angles, not blown-out or oversaturated), 4) Readiness is more than just cleaning, 5) Be the buyer
Shapes and sizes, yes. Oh, they meant buyers, sellers, and investors...so yes.
These buyers were relocating from Utah. They were a young family and had specific things they couldn't negotiate on. They knew their budget. I virtually toured (facetime) a good handful of homes, where they asked me for my opinion...they put their trust in me. That meant a lot. One home in particular, they liked some things and didn't like others in it. "What do you think Dan", I was honest, you're likely going to have to pull the carpet, scrub the walls and pay for a service to get rid of the smoke". The seller was already getting near the price they paid for their home and the cost to get those items would have been way too much to couple with the offer my buyers might have been willing to offer. In the end, the buyers were glad they didn't choose that house, because their move was already stressful enough and didn't want to move into a home that would have had that many projects regardless of how it might have been negotiated.
My wife and I talked about me needing a good outlet. I enjoyed home reno, we enjoyed home reno shows...I knew I wanted to do something that I could couple hard work, creativity, homes, and maybe make some money from it...naturally led to real estate.
I have ABR - Accredited Buyer's Representative from the National Association of Realtors. I also have a relocation certification through my brokerage.
