When we were able to go up North (we are from Albert Lea in Southern MN) he made arrangements for us to see the houses. The day before we went up North a house came up on Zillow in Deer River and we phoned and asked if we could also see that home. Dan made all the arrangements. Months before we had looked at another home in Deer River - that agent never contacted us again. In fact he was the listing agent for the house in Deer River that came up on Zillow.We liked the house in Deer River and Dan helped us put a bid in. He helped with all the paperwork. He found the names of the utilities we needed to contact. He contacted us after we moved in to be certain that everything was as it should be.I would recommend him to anyone looking to move to Northern MN. He doesn't forget you. That means the world.

ZillowVERIFIED April 15, 2012To Whom This May Concern:Dan Pflugshaupt from Gallery of Homes helped me and my wife find our dream lake home on the lake that was at top on my list. It started last year 2011when we stopped in at Gallery of Homes to talk about lake homes around the Longville area. We happened to run into Dan Pflugshaupt who was very helpful at that time. Dan printed out a list of homes that might interest us. At that time we were looking but not thinking of buying.Over the winter 2011 I inherited some money from my folks which changed us from lookers to potential buyers. My wife happened to be checking the Gallery of Homes web site (which is very helpful and easy to navigate) and noticed a lake home that looked right up our alley. We quickly made a list of other potential lake homes and contacted Dan to set up a showing.Dan was very professional and quickly set up showings for the lake homes on our list.The third home on the list was the one we were most interested to see. The first two homes were very nice but just not what we were looking for. The third home turned out to be exactly what we were looking for. My wife fell in love with it almost immediately upon arrival and after looking around told me and Dan that we were done looking at lake places. Considering how nice the lake home was and the fact that it was on a lake that I liked and most importantly my wife loved it I said OK.We all met back at the Gallery of Homes and put together a fair offer for our dream home. A few days later (with Dans help) the offer was accepted. We then ask Dan for his help and called a Pro Certified Home Inspector and had the home inspected. It passed shortly there after. Again with Dans help we were able to set up a closing date.Dan contacted Michelle Barstow to handle the closing. Michelle was very professional and personable. We went for a walk and said lets cut thru and go see if that creek is running, so we did. Then Brad said lets go down by the lake and our oldest right away said aEURoethat is trespassing dadaEUR? then to go a little further Brad said it looks like there is nobody home, lets go see if the door is open. At that point they ran and kept saying that we were trespassing. Brad then yelled out to them, aEURoestop, this is your cabinaEUR|.aEUR? They all turned and looked and just stood there not believing. aEURoeThis is your cabin, we bought this cabinaEUR?aEUR| I think it took a whole minute before it sunk in, once it did they came back running.
