ZillowVERIFIED We originally were planning on on trying to sell our home on our own considering the market was doing very well. However, I'm very glad we decided not to do that. Dan was a life saver especially considering some of the issues we encountered I don't think we could have ever predicted or have handled by ourselves. You just never know what might come up and having a licensed expert on your side we learned is so important. Moving is so stressful as it is so it was so nice to know that a professional was helping us. He was excellent with his negotiations, his knowledge of contracts and correct processes, and with helping us make the right decisions when it came up. And even though we weren't buying a house through him (only listing and selling our own) he helped us on the other too even though he didn't have to. Our home was under contract within a week which was amazing, but it's never a smooth ride in real estate when so many people and organizations are involved. It was a good thing we had Dan to help smooth out those bumps and to help us stay calm and have peace of mind. He was always very respectful and professional and always stayed cool under pressure. Dan personally took care of the sale, and one of his associates, Cameron, took care of the purchase of our new home. It was a phenomenal experience.We had found a home we wanted but knew that we would be on a tight timeline if we wanted to get it. Cameron helped us put in a strong offer as soon as we could but the sellers would not accept an offer contingent on the sale of our home. We had Dan over that evening to discuss things. We told him we had to get our house sold as soon as possible. We thought we would have to list low in order to sell quickly, but Dan told us we could list much higher than we were thinking. He had done a lot of research and showed us comparable sales in our area and we decided to do it. Dan worked hard to get our home listed late that night so it would hit all the agents' radars the next morning (I believe he stayed up until around midnight to make that happen, which is amazing). We had two good showings the next day and an offer the morning after that. The offer was for more than asking price, which we already thought was amazing.With that offer in hand, we went back and submitted a new offer on the house we wanted to purchase, and they accepted.We wanted to make sure everything went smoothly and Dan and his team made sure of it. They kept us informed of the deadlines and helped us through the whole process. We even closed in approximately 3 weeks, which was a whole week ahead of schedule.Things couldn't have gone better. Dan and everyone on his team were awesome. They really hit the ball out of the park on these two transactions. They were all very knowledgable and fun to interact with.I should also mention that we had also worked with Dan to purchase our first home (the one we just sold). We wanted to work with Dan again because of the good experience we had the first time around and yet he still managed to exceed our expectations this time. When I contacted him, he immediately set up an appointment to meet with my wife and I. At the meeting, Dan walked us through what the process was going to be and answered all of our questions. Dan also introduced us to Colby Kerr. Colby was our realtor from that point on. I honestly never had a single problem working with Dan or Colby. Both of them were super knowledgeable about the entire process and bent over backwards on multiple occasions to help us. We didn't find the high level of expertise that we were expecting, especially comparing this office to our agent in Idaho. Given what we know now, we won't use this office in the future, but will instead use who we had thought of first.

Since we were coming from out of state (Texas), we had a limited amount of time to look and to put a house under contract as our goal was to get it done quickly and in just one visit.We researched homes on Zillow and Dan sent us many potential listings from MLS for us to consider, based on the input he solicited from us in order to get a good sense of the types of homes and the locations we would consider. ZillowVERIFIED In early 2014, I called and spoke with several real estate agents in Utah County and Salt Lake City in regards to selling my rental property sometime in the near future. Just based on the telephone conversations, I was most impressed with Dan Kennedy, at which time I told him I would be listing my property with him once I decided the time was right to sell. Dan was knowledgeable, professional and even made a few suggestions how to list / sell the house quicker even though I had not committed to him yet. A year later I decided to sell my house. Not once did Dan ever call me or inquire if I was ready to sell or try to pressure me into anything. I met with Dan in Utah, and discussed the listing and sale of my house.
