ZillowVERIFIED I had an excellent experience working with Theresa, Dan and their team. From the very beginning, they took the time to understand exactly what I was looking for and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. The staging was beautiful and really highlighted the property?s potential. The photography and 3D tour were top-notch and showcased the home in the best possible light, attracting strong interest right away. I was particularly impressed by the professional team they brought in for the Open House?everything was handled flawlessly with multiple offers returned. Communication was always prompt and clear, and I always felt well-informed at each step. Its rare to find someone who combines expertise, professionalism, and genuine care for clients. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell a home!

ZillowVERIFIED Selling my home for the first time could have been stressful, but working with Theresa Choi made it incredibly smooth and easy. Their team was professional, super fast, and always responsive?often getting back to me faster than I expected. What I appreciated most was their calm confidence: they never over-promised, didn?t say unnecessary things just to reassure me, and yet they consistently over-delivered. This level of integrity and efficiency is hard to find. We?ll definitely be working with them again, and I wouldn?t hesitate to recommend them. It?s going to be tough to match this experience.

ZillowVERIFIED Working with Dan and Theresa Choi was absolutely fantastic! The first day meeting them, they came prepared. They gave me a checklist of tasks to take care of, gave me a calendar of dates and deadlines, and told me exactly what to expect. They gave me great insight on how to prep for open house, and what areas to focus on. It definitely paid off. I was under contract and needed to sell my existing home fast. They got a buyer lined up and under contract just a few days after open house, above asking price. Throughout the process they were in contact every single day giving me updates. They made me feel confident that my house would be sold in time. They took away all the stress involved in selling the house and coordinated everything that needed to be done. I would absolutely work with them again and would highly recommend them to anyone I know.

ZillowVERIFIED All my wife and I can say about our experience is WOW (in a good way!). From initial contact and meeting with Dan, to working with every member of the team (Theresa, Alex, Michelle), it was nothing but personal white glove treatment with true experts in what they do. The team continued to exceed expectations every step of the way, were always two steps ahead, and couldnt have made for a better experience for us in the end (fast sale for over asking price!). If you are reading this review and considering working with Dan Choi Real Estate Group, stop looking and begin the process - you wont regret it!

ZillowVERIFIED Dan and his entire team were amazing to work with from start to finish. I was helping my uncle sell his home that my grandparents bought new in 1955 and my uncle lived in his entire life. Dan and Teresa were responsive, kind, helpful, and patient while I helped my uncle from 400 miles away. We could not have asked for better agents and feel so lucky and blessed since we had no prior experience with them and only based on their hundreds of positive Yelp reviews. Do not hesitate to have them help you buy or sell!

ZillowVERIFIED I found myself unexpectedly in charge of selling my parents condo after my fathers death (stressful!) Dan and Theresa made it so much easier than I could have imagined. They described the whole process, recommended improvements that made financial sense, brought in a team of contractors to do the improvements, did a truly fantastic job on the staging, and the condo sold quickly and for slightly more than the anticipated price. Basically everything unfolded just as they said it would. Its clear that they have figured out how to effectively market the properties they represent. And they are both very congenial people, which is also true of the staff that theyve brought on.

ZillowVERIFIED Regina from Dan Choi Real Estate was a fantastic help to my wife and me in finding a rental home. We started our search in March and finally found the perfect place in July. Throughout the process, we faced numerous challenges and setbacks that made us feel like giving up. However, Reginas relentless pursuit, deep knowledge of the market, and unwavering positive attitude kept us hopeful and motivated. Regina went above and beyond, always staying in close contact, providing timely updates, and offering valuable advice. She understood our needs and preferences, showing us a range of options and never letting us feel discouraged. Her dedication, patience, and professionalism were truly remarkable. Thanks to Regina, we are now settled in a wonderful home that meets all our criteria. We are incredibly grateful for her support and highly recommend her to anyone in need of a top-notch realtor.

ZillowVERIFIED As a commercial real estate professional of over 20 years, I am beyond impressed with the service and knowledge that Theresa, Dan and their team (Alex, Michelle) provided on the sale of our beloved home in Tustin Ranch. From our first meeting to staging, picking the right buyer, negotiations, calming our nerves and completion of sale, Theresa and Dan delivered on all of their promises and more. It is really tough finding the perfect real estate agent for purchase or sale of a home since our homes are so personal to each of us. Theses two are as close to perfect as I have seen. Instead of trying to sell our own home, we decided to interview local agents who may be able to maximize our selling price. After a few interviews, it was apparent that there really was no other choice. My wife and I are so happy with the service that Theresa and Dan provided and the offer we received for our home. I fully endorse this duo and their team. If you are selling or buying real estate, at least meet with these two before settling on a real estate agent to work with. You will not regret it. Thank you so much for everything!

ZillowVERIFIED We had the pleasure of working with Theresa to help with our move from Northern California down to Southern California. House hunting and going through the entire closing process was not easy since we didn?t live locally, but their team was always willing to show up for every inspection, meeting, etc. across weekdays or weekends which we really appreciated. When we found our dream house that we knew was going to sell quickly, Dan went and recorded videos of the entire place for us so we would feel confident putting an offer in without being able to see the place ourselves. Across two days, Theresa helped us get our pre-approval coordinated and our first offer together?and it was accepted! We were shocked at how quickly everything worked out and Theresa?s team was in lock step with us throughout the whole process. We had a pretty aggressive close timeline and ran into quite a few issues during our inspection that led to multiple other inspections and negotiations with the seller, but Theresa helped us navigate the entire process and took the time to talk us through the pros and cons of each options. We really couldn?t have made this 300+ mile move without them!

ZillowVERIFIED I recently had the pleasure of working with Dan and Theresa Choi, along with their exceptional team, for the sale of my condo, and I couldn?t be more impressed with the level of service and professionalism they provided throughout the entire process. They demonstrated their expertise and commitment to achieving the best possible outcome for me. Despite encountering some unexpected obstacles that caused delays in the closing of escrow, they remained proactive and diligent in addressing each challenge that arose. Their ability to navigate through these hurdles with efficiency and expertise was truly remarkable. One of the standout qualities they possess is their exceptional communication skills. They kept me informed every step of the way, providing regular updates and promptly addressing any concerns or questions I had. This level of transparency and responsiveness instilled a sense of confidence in me, knowing that I was in capable hands. Notably, within just a week after the open house, they secured an offer, which exceeded my expectations. ZillowVERIFIED Dan and Theresa was referred by one of my friend. They were delighted to work with throughout the process. They made sure to be with us every step of the way. I was pleasantly surprised how they made themselves available at all times whether it was during the weekend or even late evenings. Ironically, my offer was accepted when Dan and Theresa was away on their vacation, however they took the time away from their personal time to let me know that the offer was accepted and promptly explained next steps. To me, that?s what truly professionalism looks like. Would recommend them to anyone, anytime. Thank you so much to both.

ZillowVERIFIED Having stumbled upon a home that we really loved we decided to take the next step and give Dan Choi a call to see how we could be prepared the next time this happens with the thought that we didn?t realistically have any chance at the one we just saw. We worked with Marcus who understood our situation and quickly got to work looking into the property we were interested in while also helping us keep our options open by providing listings of similar homes that matched our criteria and stayed within budget. Within the next couple days Marcus contacted the listing agent, pulled comps on the likely valuation of the property and inform us how many offers they?ve already received. Marcus?s expertise allowed us to confidently position ourselves to put in a competitive offer and continue to remain competitive until our offer was accepted. Once our offer was accepted Marcus handled all the logistics and worked closely with our lender to ensure everything went smoothly for us while working around our schedules. He continued to have our best interest in mind throughout the process always being available to hop on a call to run through and clearly explain to us in layman terms any documents we didn?t quite fully understand. Having Marcus by our side throughout the entire process made a significant difference as he played a crucial role in helping us navigate the home-buying process while making it a smooth experience. Marcus? care for his clients and treating us like family made a meaningful impact, and we?re fortunate to have had him guiding us. If you?re unsure where to begin on your home journey I?d recommend giving a call. Marcus will have your best interest in mind and there?s no pressure to make any decisions until you feel that you?re ready.

ZillowVERIFIED Talk about the dream team. Dan, Theresa, and the entire team is full of rock stars and my wife and I are so thankful we were introduced to them to help us find our first home. From our first phone call, it was obvious that Dan was an expert in real estate, but more importantly it was obvious that he was a sincere and genuine person who wanted to take the time to educate and help. Throughout the entire process, Dan was always quick to respond via text/email/phone and always made us feel like we were his only clients. When we went to open houses together, he would point out things we never would have thought of, and told us about all the important details to keep in mind. We just closed on our property a few days ago, and I can confidently say that theres no better experience we couldve had than with Dan and his team. If youre looking to buy or sell in Orange County, these are the people to partner with, you will not regret it.

ZillowVERIFIED Dan, Theresa and the whole team were amazing. My son recently bought a home and told me that I would never find a better realtor than Dan Choi Real Estate Group. This was the second time that he had worked with Dan. It was a challenge to leave our home after over 30 years. It was even more challenging facing divorce at the same time. Dan and Theresa were extremely helpful, considerate, and respectful of our situation. The team coordinated with us, contractors, escrow, and potential buyers so expertly that I felt like we were their only client (I know that wasn?t true.). They responded quickly to our questions and concerns, often within an hour or two. I was so surprised at how professional our listing was including staging and video at no extra fee. They know what they are doing! With houses in our area closing after months on the market, I was surprised that ours got several offers well above asking within the first week and sold for way above our asking price and well above any other equivalent homes in our neighborhood. I would highly recommend Dan Choi Real Estate Group!

ZillowVERIFIED My husband and I reached out to Dan & Theresa via Yelp when we found a house we loved. Theresa responded right away and scheduled a call with us that evening. And she came PREPARED. She already contacted the listing agent, pulled comps for what the house may go for and how many offers they received so far. We were so impressed and while we didnt make an offer on that house, we wanted her as our agent. Also, that house sold for exactly what Theresa estimated. From beginning to end, Theresa has been incredible to work with. Were in our dream home thanks to her!!! I can go on and on about how great she is but here are some of the top things that really made a difference in our house shopping / closing process: 1) Theresa is ORGANIZED. From the intake call to house tours to closing on a house, she meticulously planned every detail. She created itineraries, kept us up-to-date but didnt bog us down in the details, and managed all the players involved. She knew how to prioritize what needed to be done and took care of it for us. We werent the best clients and made it difficult with our erratic schedules, but she made it work. We also knew we could trust her to get things done in the background without needing to check-in, which was a huge burden off our shoulders. 2) Theresa is HONEST and will look out for you. Theresa pointed out more flaws than benefits in many of the homes we saw. We made two offers - the first one we were outbid and the second was our dream home. For the first home, I wanted to go significantly above asking and she steered us away as it wouldnt appraise for that value. She even wrote us a list of all the things wrong about the house, not to dissuade us but to make sure we were going in eyes open and wouldnt have any regrets. I was riding on emotions after the exhausting journey of house shopping in this market. Theresa couldve easily pushed me to offer high and make an easier sale, but she did the opposite and spoke truths that were not easy to hear but ultimately for our benefit. Im so glad we listened because I think I wouldve had a lot of regrets if we ended up in that house because we ended up in contract with our dream home just a week later! 3) Theresa is WELL-CONNECTED. She knew a majority of the listing agents for the homes we visited in Tustin / Irvine area. This made it easier to get more information about the house and gave us access to off-market listings. She also has experience renovating properties so she gave us advice on how we can fix or upgrade parts of the house we didnt love. For larger repairs, she pulled in her general contractor who gave us live estimates which helped so much during closing. Now that were moved in, weve been working with her contractor and hes just as amazing as Theresas been! 4) Theresa will NEGOTIATE HARD for you. Shes professional but warm and understanding. Great skills in a negotiator. She knows how to use all the various levers in an offer which helped us win our home. The sellers agent explicitly said, even though you werent the highest offer, I advised based on your communication, organized, and clients qualifications - you guys were the best candidates. Theresa takes full credit for that. 5) Theresa knows how to CLOSE a deal. House shopping is stressful, but closing is even worse. Theresa connected us to inspectors who wrote a thorough report which Theresa used to negotiate every single line item. The sellers agreed to a majority of the requests (both repairs & upgrades!) and Theresa followed up to make sure they were completed before closing. During the final walkthrough, we found some repairs that were not fully complete and we were supposed to close that day. Theresa put together several strategies we could provide in response and she ultimately got us the best option we wanted, which was a sellers credit to cover the repairs and Theresas contractor to finish the job. Win! Theresa, Dan and their team are awesome. I met many of them through their community events, during open house tours and the closing process too. Theyre kind, great at what they do, fun to work with and best of all, they made our dream (home) come true!

ZillowVERIFIED Working with Dan and Theresa was a total dream. They expertly pinpointed what to adjust and what to leave as is, transforming our house into a total showstopper. Thanks to their strategic adjustments, our home was market-ready in just a few days. The photos and videos their team was nothing short of top-tier. From the moment our house hit the market, we were swamped with private tour requests. We hosted 40 before the first day of our open house even rolled around. The open house itself? Picture this - a trendy boba stand and fresh baked goods at a home viewing. Over two days, they attracted more than 100 people. Even our neighbors were astounded, saying theyd never seen such traffic. After the open house, we ended up with 16 solid offers. But Dan and Theresa didnt rush us into accepting the highest offer. They walked us through each one, discussing the pros, cons, and risks. Without their expert guidance, theres no way we could have snagged the offers we did. Then came the grand finale - our home closed in just 12 days, fetching us 75k over our asking price, while a similar house had sold for 75k LESS the previous week. Saying Dan and Theresa are the best doesnt quite do them justice. Theyre truly in a league of their own.

ZillowVERIFIED My husband Steve and I were the original owners of a property in Tustin Ranch. Then the time came for us to relocate out of state. My husband Steve, had been collecting local real estate flyers for years. We had several options to choose from. We chose Dan and Theresa Choi because they have an extensive track record of success for getting over asking price, and their marketing videos and open houses are exceptional. When we met with them in person they were friendly, professional and informative, and we could tell that they did their homework before hand. Theresa explained how the entire selling process works (the revitalize program for fix up and repairs, staging, open houses, and other marketing). They provided us with options and let us make the choice with no pressure. What Dan and Theresa offered us most of all was PEACE of MIND! They made things simple and easy and they did it quickly and efficiently. All Steve and I had to do was get packed up, moved out, and hand the keys over to Dan and Theresa, and they took care of absolutely everything, and kept us informed every step of the way. Steve and I were fortunate enough not only to sell our home for over asking price, but for one of the highest prices within our community for units of comparable size, in a aEURoechallenging housing market.aEUR? If you are looking to buy or sell a home in the Orange County CA area, I would highly recommend that you do so with Dan and Theresa Choi and their amazing team. ZillowVERIFIED Theresa and the team are awesome! We interviewed several real estate agents and Dan and Theresa gave a great presentation, including the reasons to stage our home. Then they invited us to one of their mega open houses and we were convinced they were the ones for us. From the start they and their team were on top of everything. If there were any documents we did not understand they helped us with them. The house was staged, the photos were taken and we were placed on Coming Soon. Now for their mega open house with a barista outside under a tent, plus all their staff guiding people though our home and telling them about all the great features. In that first weekend there were more than 150+ people that went through our home. Wow! Monday we received 9 offers. Half of those were over asking price. We ended up selling our home in three days. We just closed yesterday and could not be happier with the work that Dan Choi Real Estate did for us. They were fun to work with, professional and handled all our worries. Wish they were close to where we are moving since we would definitely use them again.

ZillowVERIFIED Dan and his team are experts at evaluating property and market conditions. Once the property was renovated, Dans team came in, staged the property, professionally photographed it and made suggestions on how to maximize our selling price. In a weak market, we were actually able to get 11 offers. In about a week after listing, we got a cash offer of $45,000 over asking. I am very happy with the experience.

ZillowVERIFIED Theresa took point on the sale of my condo in Irvine. The market had tightened a bit and it was clear that it would take the best group I could find. I interviewed several experienced realtor groups with great sales track records. Dan and Theresa made a great presentation that had a well thought out, high investment plan to sell my condo that considered everything from the layout of the unit, advertising, demographics and the local market. From start to finish, Theresa, Alex and the entire team were communicative and had a well articulated plan. They had the condo staged quickly (including minor cosmetic repairs), quality photograph and promotional materials prepared and open houses rolling soon after that. Each open house pulled an impressive amount of foot traffic. They had members of their staff available for each open house including foreign language expertise relevant to the local demographics. Initially, we were not able to secure any offers despite being competitively priced with other listings. After getting boots on the ground and performing research with new home builders in the area, Theresa was able to make a data supported recommendation on a more competitive price point. Soon after, we were able to secure multiple offers which Theresa was able to leverage into a contract I was very happy with. I hope to not be moving anytime soon, but if and when that time comes I'll be turning to Dan and Theresa again.

ZillowVERIFIED We (my wife and myself) decided to sell our house in the early January, 2023. And, we interviewed three realtor agents. All of them have high review score that you can search on internet, One of them is strongly recommended by our close friends. Yet, Theresa and Dan gave us a aEURoefamilyaEUR? feel. Ultimately, we picked Theresa/Dan over the one strongly recommended by our close friends. Theresa/Dan worked in a fast pace; staging, marketing, open houses, etc.. We quickly got few offers right after the first open house. In the process of escrow, Theresa helped us through some tedious documentation and paper works. Theresa even helped us on solving the problems required from HOA. Theresa is very attentive, patiently responded to all of my questions with a fast manner! She also quickly and patiently worked with us to find our next home! It is really not easy to find a right one within the time frame required by 1031 regulation. At last, we definitely recommend Dan/Theresa Real Estate, if you are looking to sell your house or buy a new one. The above review and recommendations are truly from our heart! Trust us!

ZillowVERIFIED Dan and Theresa were amazing to work with from start to finish. They are professional, personable, easy to with and kept us updated timely throughout the process. With a growing family, we needed an upgrade from our old townhome. Starting with the sale, not only did we receive multiple offers within a week of listing, all were at or above asking. Our final sale price was 9% higher than an exact model match unit in our community that closed a week prior to ours, and all cash! At the same time both Dan and Theresa helped us find our forever home in Tustin. ZillowVERIFIED Highly recommend working with Tim Ahn as your agent!! Tim is proactive, friendly and will work hard to get you the house of your dreams. When my then-fiance (now husband) and I were looking to buy our first house together in OC/LA area in the middle of the pandemic, we decided to reach out to Dan Choi Real Estate Group. We were introduced to Tim Ahn, a real estate agent specializing in the area we were looking. I think we ended up hopping on a video call with Tim the very same night we were introduced to him. He was very proactive and wasted no time getting in touch with us. We knew nothing about buying a home and had so many questions, but he patiently answered all of them and even shared some helpful informational material with us. Buying a home is a stressful process in itself, but buying a home in the middle of a super competitive market during a pandemic?! Extremely stressful! But it was a huge relief to have Tim guiding us through the process. Tim kept an eye out to share any new listings we might be interested in. With each open house we visited (and mind you - we went to MANY open houses), he pointed out any details we may have overlooked. Is the water heater ancient? Is there evidence of termite damage? Tim had an eye for it all. When it came time to make our first offer - Tim was there again to guide us and answer our many questions. We were picky clients - we were very particular about what we wanted, and at one point, we were actually in escrow and dropped out after escrow. We felt bad to pull out after all of the hard work Tim had put into the deal, but he assured us this was completely okay and part of the process. At one point, we lost out on a house we were very excited about - a normal part of the house hunting process. But Tim deeply empathized with our disappointment and gave us a thoughtful gift to help ease the hurt. We were so appreciative and truly touched by the gesture. When we finally found THE house for us, we were able to get it thanks to Tim. He established a positive working relationship with the sellers agent, making the entire process very smooth and pain free for us. When we finally got the keys, he even surprised us with a gift basket of thoughtful housewarming gifts! Couldnt have done it without Tim and so very grateful for his support throughout the process!

ZillowVERIFIED My husband and I purchased our very first home earlier this year with the help of our amazing agent, Tim Ahn from Dan Choi's team! We are so fortunate and blessed that our search for a home didn't take too long because of Tim's expert guidance. Because of his help and advice during this crazy seller's market, we got our offer accepted on our beautiful home and we couldn't be more thankful. Tim took the time to answer all of our numerous questions, quickly set up tours for us, was punctual, and understood exactly what we were looking for. He was also very honest with us throughout all of it and we knew from the very beginning that he had our best interests in mind. He was never pushy about anything at all and gave us a lot of reassurance all the steps for this homebuying process. When we decided to put an offer on our home, Tim walked us through every single step and individual page of the offer contract and made sure we fully understood all of the confusing real estate jargon. The entire team that Tim works with was also very professional and it all just seemed like such a breeze. Did I mention how friendly and easygoing Tim is? He even built up great rapport with our sellers' agent that I think helped the process go even smoother. There were some moments during the escrow process where we pondered over how smooth and quickly everything progressed, and buying a home for the first time seemed like a cakewalk because of Tim's expertise! If you're looking to purchase or sell a home, make sure you reach out to Dan Choi's team and ask for Tim! I firmly believe they are FIVE STARS and A++++. Thank you Tim!!!!
