Dan helped my husband and I search for homes. He was extremely client-centered, as we asked to go through *quite* a few homes before we found: the one. He helped us put in an offer, negotiate with counter-offers, one of which got accepted, and then navigate the entire process. His response time was amazing- it always felt like we were his number one priority (even though I know he had other clients too!). I worked with Dan to purchase my first house and he was extremely professional, patient, and helpful. He does not try to force you to make a decision. We looked at over 30 different homes before I decided which one to purchase and when it came to securing a loan he was even more helpful. While going through any house he always points out things to consider when making an offer. The home I purchased was in need of serious repair therefore the banks were very stingy about providing a loan even though I was puuting 20% down. Dan connected me with someone who helped me understand how to purchase this home without taking out a construction loan and ended up doing a conventional loan.Things have changed since 2009 however Dan is incredibly knowledgable about not only finding you the home you are looking for but can assiist in various other ways.

Dan was a beyond excellent real estate agent! I recently purchased my first home, and Dan guided me through the entire process. After I described to him the style of house, location, and price range I was interested in, he frequently sent me property listings - sometimes multiple times in one day! I was very particular when looking at homes, and Dan patiently went through at least 60-70 houses with me. Dan meticulously inspected each house we went through and pointed out various things that could potentially impact the resale of a home and potential areas that would need to be fixed. At one house, he pointed out it was near rental properties and that can sometimes affect the resale of the home. He also pointed out in one home that the sellers were burning several candles in the basement, which covered up a moldy smell. Dan also would point out various things in several houses that would need fixing relatively soon like appliances, windows, and roofing. Because Dan does a lot of projects around his own home, he was able to accurately estimate the cost of most of those fixes. When I finally found my house, Dan was integral in the negotiation process. He was able to negotiate the inclusion of some lawn maintenance equipment into the sale. When the selling agent neglected to include these items during the signing of the contract, Dan made sure he the agent did not forget! Above all, Dan donates a portion of the proceeds from the buying or selling of a home to a charity of your choice. I thought this was an amazing perk that I have never heard any other real estate agent practicing. Overall, I would highly recommend Dan for any real estate needs!
