Then he got mad about the poor review we gave and ended up stalking my family for years. We were very hesitant when we met Damon, but quickly realized his professionalism and knowledge. We went through many obstacles with builders and had to back out twice along the way. Damon was not only patient, but a valuable partner when negotiating earnest money and refunds. ZillowVERIFIED If you are a buyer: Damon is EASY to reach! And actually answers emails in a relatively short time-frame. Extremely receptive compared to the vast majority of other agents. I can't even begin to tell you how many homes Damon has shown me over a 5 year period. 100-ish? Irony in all that is that we found a for sale buy owner home so we ended up selling our home with Damon. If you are a seller: Wow! On top of the fact that he gave us a list of painters, handymen, landscapers etc to get our home ready on the cheap, he also sold our home for WAY more than we thought. When the time came for us to price our home, Damon reviewed the comps & said he thought it was worth about 45k more than what we were thinking & suggested that we'd definitely get offers. End result, 1st day on the market we have 5 offers at or above our asking price (which is 45k more than we were thinking). Since Plano is such a hot market and the appraisals have yet to catch up with the actual market value, we were able to select the buyer who was willing to bridge the gap between the sales price and appraisal, which turned out to be crucial.I'll definitely be contacting Damon again in the future.

During our visit to Dallas, although knowing that I wasn't planning on moving for a while and the chances of a sale were very low, Damon still met with me and showed more than a dozen houses in a single day. Not many people would knowingly waste time with a person but Damon didn't even think twice about it. When my family and I finally moved to the DFW area, Damon helped me with every step of the way to get my dream home and God only knows the roller coaster ride I had to go through to get this house because of a personal issue. During this process, he helped me through each step and even helped me on my backup plans in case I was unable to get my dream house (because of a personal issue). We actually went to dozens of open houses and interviewed a few realtors before settled down with Damon. He is very straightforward, honest and effective. We saw at least 20 houses with him. He always gives us honest and professional opinions. He is also very patient. We didn't feel any pressure from him during the whole process. We can always get a response from him through text message and email. He sometime didn't answer the phone, but it's understandable because he might be with another client. We choose back and forth from 3 different houses (even after inspection!), Damon was very patient and understanding and helped us make the right choice at last. During negotiation he was very effective. We payed more than $10000 less and get the fridge with the house! The closing process was very smooth with his help. I did not know the area and had to find a house my wife would accept while she stayed in CA with my girls until we were ready to move. Damon explained the DFW are to me, sent my wife houses to view online, then we set up a weekend visit and looked at house, after house, after house until we found the one.What I liked the most - Damon didn't try to push ideas on us or care about how much time we were taking from house to house. If we walked into a house and the answer was immediately - "no," no questions asked we moved onto the next. He made you feel like you were his only customer and he had nothing to do all day but spend it with you.In my mind that's the best way to look for a home. Work with an individual such as Damon where he tried to understand you as a person rather than this is a job and I am trying to close a deal.Once an offer was placed on the table he was very good at negotiating and working for you in your best interests.
