ZillowVERIFIEDCyndi went above and beyond what is expected of a real estate agent. As out of town buyers, odds were stacked against us in bidding on a home. She worked so hard to find the right homes, to always be available to show it to us over facetime and to guide us to give an offer that was accepted. We couldn't have done it without her.
ZillowVERIFIEDCyndi was a fantastic realtor. She was with us every step of the way. We are new home buyers with not a lot of knowledge on the process. She answered all our questions quickly and helped us close on our dream home.
ZillowVERIFIEDWe are so fortunate to have had Cyndi Hobson represent us in a recent property purchase. Cyndi is not only knowledgeable and experienced, her excellent people skills help guide us through a somewhat complex transaction. Her helpful, calm demeanor combined with a get-it-done sense of urgency created the perfect balance to make this deal happen. We enthusiastically recommend Cyndi!
ZillowVERIFIEDCyndi is exceptional and we highly recommend her. We met her three years ago when we were just browsing the market around Ventura. When it was finally time for us to purchase our first home, she was right there and ready to help. We saw about a dozen homes with Cyndi over about 5 to 6 weeks at different times and different days of the week, even weekends, because of our off beat work schedules. We have never worked with an agent who is as flexible and accomodating as Cyndi. Her resourcefulness and fund of knowledge was always appreciated. She gave us honest assessments of each house and neighborhood, giving us the full picture of considerations when deciding. She had us feel like we are her only customers even though we know she's very busy. We felt like she always had our best interests in mind and won our trust pretty quickly, especially when she became best friends with our toddler who came to know her by Aunty Cydi. She also guided us on how to win the bid on our dream house, she knew how much we wanted this one in particular! The escrow and negotiation process was tedious, but Cyndi helped us understand our options and choose what was best for us every step of the way. Truly an amazing human and agent! You won't go wrong working with her.
ZillowVERIFIEDIt was delightful working with Cyndi, very professional and kind and helpful. She is always on top of things, taking care of things, being helpful in every way possible, and making the process as easy as possible for us. After looking at a couple of houses in Ventura we were not satisfied with, Cyndi quickly pointed us to next town over, Camarillo, which is a much more suitable town for us to live in. The negotiation game was absolutely on point: we ended up paying A LOT less than the listed price. With incredible local connections growing up in the Camarillo/Ventura area, Cyndi was able to figure out all of the issues evolved around the house such as solar system, home repairs, gardening system, and others. We were able to estimate and set up most of the home utility costs quickly. Also Cyndi has really great connections to mortgage brokers that are so easy to work with and gave amazing rates.
ZillowVERIFIEDI really enjoyed working with Cyndi. She is extremely detail and process driven. Her follow up is outstanding. She created a project plan with dates for different tasks. She managed this project plan and would contact the sellers agent to ensure their tasks were completed. I never had to worry about Cyndi and her being on top of all the issues. She met us on several occasions at the new house to help us plan moving in. I have worked with other agents and I had to call them multiple times to get a return call. I never had to do that with Cyndi.
ZillowVERIFIEDCyndis professionalism really played a large part in the success of the sale of our house. I felt like there was very little I had to do on my end, and that was due to Cyndi taking care of all the details. It was obvious that she knew what she was doing when we had a solid offer above asking price within 12 hours of the house going on the market. Cyndi made it all seem too easy. I highly recommend her.

ZillowVERIFIEDCyndi is the best! She was thorough and professional and great to work with in every step of selling our home of 25 years. She kept us apprised on every detail and answered questions as they came up. She texted or returned calls right away. Most importantly, Cyndi was honest and forthright and this helped keep our selling expectations in check. She was fully educated on the current market so we put a lot of trust in her opinion and direction, but she never forced us to do anything; always leaving final decisions up to us. No pressure!!To our surprise, we sold our home on Day One over asking price! Cyndi was a cool and calm negotiator, so warm and easy to work with. In a nutshell, it was to our benefit to have her represent usaEUR|.. And, as an added BONUS, Cyndi is an amazing, kind, smart and compassionate human being - on top of being a top notch real estate agent.
ZillowVERIFIEDWe met Cyndi years ago, she showed us one house. We werent ready to buy at the time but we knew that when we were, that we would be back in touch w Cyndi. Three years later we started touching base again, Cyndi was always responsive, patient and willing to educate us, as everything was news and unfamiliar territory to us first time home buyers. She put some fire under us when we needed it, things move fast and we were slow, but Everything was our choice everything was an option never forced. We made a few requests (nothing outlandish) that may not have been 100% what she would have like to include as a part of the negotiations but she was willing and made them on our behalf. I know that Cyndi respects both sides of the deal and if we would have made an extraordinary request that was off the mark she would not put it through. Shes a local with incredible presentation and and we were proud to have her as our representative. I celebrated the closing on our first home but I miss Cyndi. For us she was comforting and just ended up seeming like a friend. She would carry our 17 month old son around so we could focus on looking at the homes, he was always happy to see her. We all still want Cyndi in our lives!
ZillowVERIFIEDCyndi Hobson is AMAZING. We have bought and sold many homes, and we have never met an agent this capable. We recently bought a house in Ventura and sold one in Thousand Oaks at the same time. It would have been a complete nightmare if it werent for Cyndi. She was on top of every single detail on both homes every single day and night. She was always available, always professional, and always a calming influence. I cannot recommend her highly enough.
ZillowVERIFIEDYou wont find a better agent in all of California! Cyndi Hobson definitely goes above and beyond. Ive bought and sold numerous houses and she was by far the best and most professional realtor I have ever encountered. This is a tough time to buy, but Cyndi is extremely knowledgeable about the Ventura housing market and knows how to close a deal. She anticipated my needs and was always patient and pleasant to be with. Phone calls and messages were answered promptly and she happily showed me the same house about six times. There were also countless little details she took care of without being asked, even after closing.I know you wont regret hiring Cyndi. I wasnt asked to write this review, but wanted the world to know how great she is. I am so relieved that I was referred to her. It made my life so much easier and I love my new home.
ZillowVERIFIEDCyndi was great. She wasnt pushy. She let us look around on our own but was knowledgeable and responsive when we had questions. She always picks up the phone and returns emails. She made the process seamless. We would definitely use her again.Rebecca Lyons
ZillowVERIFIEDMy dad and I worked with Cyndi for about 2 months. She is incredible kind and thoughtful. She is very knowledgeable about her area and she answered all of our questions and concerns througout the process. Whenever we wanted to see a property, she would make it happen. Have questions about the area, she will tell you about it, and she is honest. My experience working with Cyndi was perfect and it felt like to me she genuinely wanted to help me find a home.
ZillowVERIFIEDCyndi not only went above and beyond but made my most important purchase stress free and comfortable. Her responsiveness and ownership of my needs was impressive and appreciated. I always felt first and supported regardless of the time or day, I knew she was there. Thank you Cyndi!!
ZillowVERIFIEDLook no further Cyndi is the best! From the beginning of the process to the end- she was knowledgeable, kind & very patient with us. As first time home buyers, who are not from the area, we had MANY questions. And she was able to answer all of them with a smile.- From the start, Cyndi referred us to a local lender for pre-qual. It happened to be the lender we already bank with, so it was a perfect match. They work really well together, which made the process that much easier for us.- Next, she is very knowledgeable about the area (she is local) and could help us narrow down communities based on our needs.- Cyndi is on point with scheduling viewings and was very flexible with us (as we both have full time jobs). Also during Covid, extra disclosures were needed to view houses, and she was on it.- Once we found our dream home, she had excellent rapport with the other agent and was able to close the deal quickly. - From when we started viewing homes with her to when we got the keys to our home, it was only about 2 months! If you are serious and want a house- Cyndi is your agent!
ZillowVERIFIEDCyndi is a super realtor. Was very quick on getting us responses and did a good job of selling us to the seller as a prospective buyer. She was very willing to work around out schedule. I could not have asked for a better broker. I would highly recommend Cyndi.
ZillowVERIFIEDCyndi was so helpful throughout the entire process of finding a home. She was informative knowledge and patiently waited to help us find the home that was perfect for us! As a first time buyer I knew I could trust Cyndi to answer any questions. She was available anytime and we could not have asked for a better realtor!
ZillowVERIFIEDCyndi was INCREDIBLY helpful and friendly. As first time homebuyers, she helped lift so much stress off our shoulders. She was there for us anytime we had a question, no matter how big or small. I highly recommend her, especially if youre a first time buyer looking for someone with patience and a lot of knowledge. Thank you so much, Cyndi!
ZillowVERIFIEDCyndi is a true professional! There is a reason she has such great reviews across the board. As first time home buyers, Cyndi made it a really wonderful experience for us and helped us navigate any speed bumps in the purchase with ease. She is excellent and knowledgable at her job, timely, communicative, and a great negotiator. Her professionalism and people skills are above par. You will walk away with a house you love and feel like you've made a friend!
ZillowVERIFIEDI recommend Cyndi to anyone who needs help selling their house. My husband and I had no experience and were very anxious about this process at first. We contacted Cyndi and she made the entire proces simple and stress free for us. I really appreciated her genuine personality.
ZillowVERIFIEDGreat Realtor. She sold our first house. She got us above asking and sold it in 1 day. She was very kind and helpful. We would recommend her to anyone.

ZillowVERIFIEDWe moved from Vermont to Ventura, CA. Buying a house in California is WAY different than back east. Cyndi was patient, well informed and always responsive and available for all of our crazy questions & last minute showing requests. She led us through the process and showed that she actually cared about finding us the perfect home for our family in a crazy sellers market during COVID. We cant thank Cyndi enough for helping us buy an awesome home for our family & friends to stay and enjoy.
ZillowVERIFIEDI recently purchased a home with the help of Cyndi. Cyndi was oustanding in helping me find the perfect home. As a first time home she did an excellent job helping me understand the process and documents that were coming my way for signature. She worked around my schedule and we were able to get things done quickly.I highly recommend Cyndi Hobson if you are looking to buy a home. Thanks Cyndi!
ZillowVERIFIEDCyndi is the best. So responsive and knowledgeable. If she doesn't know the answer she knows who to get you to! I had all sorts of strange requests. Im a difficult buyer I know. I'm a designer, I know what I like! (hahaha) She is very nice as well and went out of her way to get me a place that wasn't even on the market. We are going to be so happy in our new home thanks to Cyndi!
ZillowVERIFIEDCyndi is very client focused with a can-do attitude. She was willing to fit into my schedule and accommodate last minute showings as needed in this fast market. I appreciated that she would follow up for feedback on each property without any hint of being pushy - if it wasn't the right home for me, the focus immediately switched to finding the next potential fit. She is very responsive and has a lot of great connections to benefit her clients. Highly recommend.
ZillowVERIFIEDWorking with a different realtor, we had previously submitted several offers at and above asking, which fell flat. Fate pointed my family toward the realtor services of Cyndi Hobson, and our home journey immediately changed from stressful to promising. From the moment we contacted Cyndi, we experienced professionalism, local knowledge, process expertise, and patience. Cyndi effectively communicated to my wife and me while addressing any concerns and easing our "first time home buyer" anxiety. We were the family looking for the turnkey property in the perfect neighborhood, at the perfect price, with a pool. Cyndi was able to maneuver through the pandemic and show us multiple properties, often in a single day, all while remaining pleasant and professional. Thanks to Cyndi, we found what we were looking for, negotiate for a great price, and closed in record time. Cyndi was able to leverage her relationships with other realtors and get us into our perfect home. We would highly recommend her services, and although we have no plans on moving anytime soon, Cyndi would be the first realtor we would call.
ZillowVERIFIEDCyndi was helpful throughout our home search and purchase process. She was very responsive and always had good advice. She is not at all pushy. Just what we wanted in an agent. We would have no hesitation in recommending her to a friend.
ZillowVERIFIEDI was fortunate enough to have worked with Cyndi. She has been very helpful and reliable. She answers all my queries in full details and patient in my every demands. I am a first time home purchaser and its quite diffucult to come across an agent that is trustworthy and makes all the initiative from requirements to documentations.
ZillowVERIFIEDCyndi was very professional, friendly and responsive to questions. She had multiple offers on the property within a week of listing and the property was sold and escrow closed within less than one month. I would definitely recommend her and her Re/Max office to anyone.
ZillowVERIFIEDCyndi was awesome from the very beginning. She was very easy to work with and answered any messages we sent her immediately. We were very impressed with her professionalism and knowledge. She even had the house cleaned for us. We would work with her again in a heart beat!
ZillowVERIFIEDCyndi is a rockstar! As a first time homebuyer, I stumbled her on Zillow. She was extremely helpful, made everything easy, extremely responsive. Id recommend Cyndi to anyone!
ZillowVERIFIEDCyndi Hobson is absolutely the most professional agent I have ever worked with. I have suffered with others. She is always on top of things. Always returns calls promptly. She goes above and beyond. Day or night she is always available.
ZillowVERIFIEDCyndi is amazing! Extreamly responsive and knowledgeable. She was such a pleasure to work with. I felt comfortable and up to speed every step of the way.
ZillowVERIFIEDCyndi really took the time with my husband and me to find the perfect house for our growing family. She did everything we asked in negotiation and more! If we were not making a smart move she directed us in the right way to make sure we got the house. We got the house and are loving our choose!
ZillowVERIFIEDCyndi was amazing throughout this process. Shes always available and answered all of our questions. We felt a genuine interest in our search for our new home. She was very patient with us and never rushed or pressured us with anything. We had an amazing experience with her and hope the same for others. Thank you for everything Cyndi!
ZillowVERIFIEDI am pleased to post a review of Cyndi Hobson for doing an amazing job helping me with the purchase of my home in Ventura. Cyndi is extremely knowledgeable with excellent communication and coordination skills. She was there throughout the process offering advice and facilitating all aspects of the home buying experience. She handled the inevitable hiccups with quick efficiency. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for an agent.
ZillowVERIFIEDCyndi is extremely knowledgeable regarding the local market. I've got to admit that purchasing our first home was time-consuming because of our pickiness, but Cyndi worked with us very patiently and she was always there to keep us looking. She wanted us to search out the right house for our family and we really felt that she had our interests in mind. She is a superb communicator and a really strong negotiator. During the escrow process, she took her time to very carefully review our documents and really helped us. She was very efficient with using the internet based Docusighn tool so that we didn't need to make multiple trips to offices during the escrow process. We were so lucky to find the most effective agent during this very competitive area and I would definitely recommend Cyndi.
ZillowVERIFIEDWorking with Cyndi was fantastic. Her straightforward approach was genuine and appreciated. We never felt details were overemphasized nor deflected. She helped us navigate the negotiation process professionally and respectfully, providing realistic feedback and relevant advice. Overall, we couldnt be happier with Cyndis representation.
ZillowVERIFIEDFor anyone looking in Ventura and surrounding areas, Cyndi is THE AGENT to work with. We came to her from out of town and she worked with us for over 2 years to find the right home. She's unbelieveable in every way: knowledge, social grace, time management, negotiation skills, generousity with sharing access to experts & resources and ultimately to finding a home that was just right! There's no hard sell - only honesty, solid and practical judegment. We relied on her for so much and she always came through with kindness and an even temperment. Her local knowledge is vast and impressive and she has an instinct that I so appreciated! Wish I could buy another house just to work with her again!! She is a delight and a pleasure to work with!
ZillowVERIFIEDCyndi was very responsive when I requested through Zillow to tour a house the next day, as I was not able to reach the listing agent. I was very impressed with her information and willingness to assist me and her quick response. Though she found out that night that the property I was interested in had accepted an offer that same day and was no longer available, I was grateful for her hard work and learning of this so quickly. I would definitely work with her in the future. (I am not rating negotiation skills or process expertise as we did not get to those areas.)
ZillowVERIFIEDCyndi has been absolutely phenomenal, and I'm so grateful to have had her in our corner! She answered any and all questions so thoroughly and honestly, I have absolute faith in her. When the time comes to sell rather than buy, I will 100% be reaching out to her again.
ZillowVERIFIEDVery helpful and always totally responsive. I would work with Cyndi again. She helped negotiate with sellers and was honest about price and when to stop counter offers.
ZillowVERIFIEDWe were connected to Cyndi randomly through the Zillow app. We are first time home buyers and had no connections to any realtors in the area so we took a chance and just went with it. When we met in person to view a few homes together, my husband and I liked her instantly. She was so down to earth, easy to talk to, honest, and very knowledgeable. After working with her a bit more we felt extremely lucky that we had been randomly put with her. We found that other agents we encountered (at open houses for example) felt pushy, and just had a very aEURoesalesmanaEUR? type attitude. Cyndi was the opposite of that. She truly always had our best interests and needs in mind, she was on our side, and it never felt like she was just trying to make a sale or get us to closing. As first time buyers we had so many questions, and she was always willing to answer all of them, even over the phone at 8:00 at night, and explained things in such an understandable way we never felt confused, which was especially valuable once we got into escrow and theres loads of things to read through and sign. Ive heard buying a home can be one of the most stressful things to go through, especially if youre on a budget, but thanks to Cyndi we actually cant really relate to that sentiment. It actually felt like a breeze. Shes just a wonderful person and agent, we feel so unbelievably grateful for all her help and hard work, and we are happy to have found our realtor for life. Thanks so much for everything Cyndi! ????????
ZillowVERIFIEDShe was so patient with us. Very knowledgeable and professional. She always reply to us quickly. She made the process of closing easy and fast. Thank you Cyndi!
ZillowVERIFIEDCyndi is the agent you want. From meeting up to show ten properties on almost no notice to navigating the home buying process in California, she was unflappable and professional at any hour of the day. She was great at finding us a ranch-style house that would fit a family of four with two dogs inside Ventura county, which is a daunting challenge in and of itself. Whenever we were confused, needed clarification, out felt we had to communicate something strongly to the sellers, Cyndi responded quickly, professionally, and in a way we could understand. I can't say enough about how much better she made our home buying process, how relieved I am that she was our agent, or how confident I am that she can do the same for you. Thank you so much Cyndi!
ZillowVERIFIEDI had a house in escrow where Cyndi actually represented the buyer, but I was extremely impressed with Cyndi throughout the entire process. She was professional, responsive, and did everything she possibly could, going above and way beyond, to ensure that the process went smoothly for both the buyer and us as sellers. I can't say enough about how important that was for us as sellers, especially considering the fact that we live a couple of thousand of miles away. I would highly recommend Cyndi Hobson!
ZillowVERIFIEDVery kind and responsive. She took our interests into consideration and did not push anything we were opposed to. She made the process way easier than I expected, but then again my husband worked mostly with her. Great agent!
ZillowVERIFIEDWe are brand new first time home owners, and Cyndi Hobson was an absolute godsend for my husband and me, who knew NOTHING about buying a home. She was so incredibly patient, helpful, and available from the very beginning of this home buying journey and we never once felt pressured to make any decisions out of our comfort zone or without having all available information. Her guidance, reliability, integrity, and excellent knowledge of the varying neighborhoods of Ventura as well as the resources she recommended made working with her a comforting and pleasant experience. She went above and beyond to ensure that everything could go as smoothly as possible between us and the sellers, the bank, and the escrow company. I cannot thank Cyndi enough and will miss working together!
