I'm Craig Blumengold, a Realtor(R) with Smallegan Real Estate - the #1 ranked team in Grand Rapids by transaction volume - and I bring something most agents in this market can't: eight years of real estate experience across two of the country's most competitive markets.

I got my start in Denver, where five years in a fast-moving, high-demand market taught me to think on my feet and fight for my clients. Three years ago I made the move to West Michigan, and honestly, I haven't looked back. I've spent that time really getting to know the neighborhoods, the price dynamics, and the people that make Greater Grand Rapids such a great place to call home. Having worked both markets gives my clients a perspective that goes beyond the comparables - it's about understanding value, timing, and what a home actually means to the people buying or selling it.

Before real estate, I spent 12 years in B2B sales and business development - which really just means I know how to listen, negotiate, and get deals done. I hold a B.S. in Business Marketing from Berkeley College and am licensed in both Michigan and Colorado.

Outside of work, hockey is a big part of my life I've played, coached, and officiated at various levels, and I volunteer with blind, disabled, and sled hockey programs. These days my favorite role is cheering from the rink boards as our daughter chases her hockey dreams at the elite level.. The rest of my time goes to my family, which is exactly how it should be.
