The only downside was his program of using mostly emails between his organization had a few flaws and his communication concerning buyer's comments during open houses was not encouraging for us. BUT the house sold quickly over the admittedly underpriced initial offering. Fortunately we found a wonderful family to buy our sacred, to us, home.

Review Craig is unprofessional, ludicrous and his behavior unethical. He will be very professional before he sign the listing agreement with you, text you, call you, leave you voice mail messages, email you, but the minute after you sign, he'll disappear because suddenly he's got family duty to attend and now he'll have his assistant, who's NOT a real estate agent to help answer your questions instead.Don't list with him unless you have time and money to waste and you enjoy being verbally abused or harassed or bullied!!! He lured me in because of all these positive reviews that I had seen and BEFORE the listing agreement was signed by me, he was responsive to my text messages as well as phone calls no matter what day in the week or what time in the day, especially during off hours, weekend and evening hour, when a Real Estate agent is suppose to be available because one's working full time during the day and week. However as soon as AFTER the listing agreement was signed, which he called, texted, emailed me as well as his assistant, constantly, multiple times a day, they disappeared. He wouldn't answer my call, text nor emails, and passed me over to his assistant for questions whom is paid on the hour and only available Mon-Fri 9-5 according to the assistant and who's not a real estate agent. Even then his assistant was not available to answer my call at 9:30 on a Monday and couldn't help me get a hold of Craig, the Real Estate agent that I had signed up on the listing agreement to work with. Mind you at this point, I'd never met Craig nor had he bothered to visit the property that he is representing and will be marking for me though I had requested to meet him and invited him to come to see the property, he chose to NOT respond to the request until I told him that I would not submit any additional paper work that he had asked until I have had a chance to meet him in person at my property that he's representing. When he finally responded to my call, he first sent a text, then when he finally became available, he bullied me around, stating that he's not available in the evening because he has family obligation and said that if me, being the seller is anxious about the selling process, then I should see a therapist and said that he doesn't run a psycho shop and that he's not available 24 hours a day, which is not what I had assumed nor did I expect, but just reasonable off hour when I'm not at my day job. He further stated that he has clients whose net worth are in the $70Million range and also ones who are running two pennies in their fingers and I told him that I'm that person rubbing the two pennies as this is my retirement money. Therefore I would expect an agent (NOT his assistant who's NOT a real estate agent) to work with me in utmost professional, timely, and courteous manner in addressing my real estate specific concerns and inquiries. I receive none of these but insult, delayed responses or no response, bully, waste of time, and plenty opportunity cost.

Review I will never forget the day I met Craig Ackerman. He walked in, introduced himself, took a quick look around and seemed to formulate a plan. We sat down with him as he explained his process, methods and obligations to us. I knew we had found our realtor. The other realtors we spoke with didnt have that certain appeal that Craig did. His knowledge and the way he commands a room were impressive. We went on a room by room inspection, where a lot of notes were taken. He made many suggestions that raised the level of appeal of this house. We signed on with him and never looked back. We moved out to facilitate the necessary and suggested repairs. The office staff made the inspection and paperwork processes painless. The professional photographs of our house, after being repaired, painted and staged almost made us want to move back in. The marketing process was everything he said it was going to be. Our house sold for much more than we expected. Review There are many many reasons to feel completely confident in Craig and his team when selling a home in San Francisco, but I will mention two things here that are likely key strenghts. I had to sell my town-house in San Francisco while being absent (living abroad) and sought to have the whole thing in trusted hands. It worked out very well. Then I of course wanted the highest price possible and wanted all the right steps to be taken to build marketing momentum and get solid offers. To sum it up, Craig provided the golden middle path that led to the best possible outcome. Here I mean the right choices to, e.g. not over or underspend on repairs and improvements, make those happen quickly while I'm abroad, get the right staging, market to the right audience, and for the right amount of time, etc. Due to the time of the year when I had to sell there was pressure to get the busy spring and avoid the summer lull. And I had some apprehension of the speed we were moving at, but Craig described to me in well written emails and discussions on the phone how his plan and recommended actions would secure the best selling price. I chose to follow his advice and I am very glad I did. On that note... I am writing this review four months after my sale. Why is that you may ask? It is because I'm very methodical and I wanted to monitor what comparables sold for in the weeks/months that followed, and I cross checked with some real estate professionals if Craig had made the right call. The result of my little study is that Craig indeed guided me towards the right choices to get the best result possible for my situation.

Craig was patient and understanding of our situation. The cost of resurfacing the home was a little intimidating since we were not sure if it would pay off in the end, but we definitely got our money's worth since it drew more interest to the property which Craig had anticipated.There were a few hiccups during the resurfacing process, but the Ackerman team has great response time and made sure we were satisfied with their work. They made things right and followed through with all of our requests.The sale of the home involved parties in various states, but Craig maintained great communication with us to ensure we were all on the same page. He answered our questions throughout the whole process and was always readily available to help.Craig is very eager to earn your business and works hard to finish the deal. He has strong sales tactics and extensive experience. Although the market was starting to slow, we still received a few offers above asking price. Because we chose to go with Craig's recommendations, the house became the buyer's dream home and we all walked away with everything we had hoped for. Review My husband and I had been thinking of selling our house for months, but we never had time between caring for our large family and my husbands busy work schedule. I finally decided to find a realtor, and spoke to several. One would not entertain me without speaking to my husband because she thought that he calls the shots. A second was too overwhelmed by the fact that we have five children and had one on the way. By the time I talked to Craig, I was ready to give up, but he was so respectful that I felt confident again about selling. He was genuinely concerned about our family. Review My elderly client needed to sell his home for a specific price in order to meet his retirement needs. Craig gave the client a detailed analysis about what specific repairs needed to be done in order to reach the target number. The client was hesitant to invest over 30k into a house he was ultimately selling but Craig's confidence won the client over. The client handed Craig and his team the keys and walked away to begin the next chapter of his life. Craig coordinated every detail of the repair and sale beginning with coordinating movers to help the client get settled in his new place, moving items no longer needed to auction, all the way to drywall patching, painting, floors sanding, refinishing countertops and sinks, and minor electrical work. The client did not lift a finger nor answer a contractor question. When Craig hit the base target number for the sale, the Client asked Craig to try to squeeze a little more out of the prospective buyers and Craig came through. Review Craig recently assisted with the sale of our San Francisco condo. He completely managed the process to renovate the condo prior to sale, which was very much appreciated since we were dealing with the purchase and renovation of a house, getting ready for a baby, etc. all at the same time. Craig gave us piece of mind that everything was handled with the condo renovation so that we had nothing to worry about. When it came time for the actual sale, Craig's knowledge about the lending process became invaluable. The first offer we got was from a bank he knew to have difficulties closing, so he provided helpful advice about the likelihood of success of that offer, and even helped the couple making the offer seek another lender. When it was clear that offer had a low likelihood of success, Craig beat the bushes to find us another offer - the time all cash with a seven-day close. His efforts to bring that offer to the table and help us move the sale forward with lightening speed were much appreciated.My only criticism was that Craig was a tad defensive when we asked him certain things about the renovation and the open house process. However, overall, I would recommend Craig for his attentiveness, willingness to manage the renovation process from start to finish, and tenacity in getting us the best offer he could. Craig made our condo sale a success, and we couldn't have done it without him.

Review My aunt who is 83 years young asked me to help her sell her house in San Francisco, living in Buffalo I only had a few days to fly out and assist her (because of my work schedule) with sorting files, personal items, closing accounts and selling her antique furniture items, and finding a real estate firm to list her home with. I researched brokers on Zillow, one stood out but I thought I should interview at least three.
