    About Cory Mortensen

    I was born in New Prague, Minnesota but immediately benefitted from my parent's brilliant decision to raise me in the warmer climate of Scottsdale, Arizona. I have an extensive and diverse background that is hugely beneficial to my work as a REALTOR. After my first construction experience on a remote island in the Pacific Ocean the die was cast. I returned to the states and quickly worked my way up from drafter to construction management for several Architecture firms in Minneapolis. In 1997 I started investing in residential properties and began remodeling and flipping homes. I started another company which I sold 10 years later and in 2017 I landed back in Phoenix, earned my Real Estate License and joined the best darn real estate team Phoenix has to offer. My business philosophy is simple...either find a way or make one. My history and experience in Architecture, construction management, hands on construction experience, experience as a landlord and entrepreneurial mindset are the ingredients of the perfect cocktail in working with and helping investors find those perfect properties to help grow their portfolios. However don't think for a moment I don't love working with home buyers. The best part of this profession is handing over the keys and watching the excitement in your face as you cross that threshold into your new home for the first time.     As a first time home buyer, I was unsure of the process. Cory walked me through every step- from looking to closing!
