2. What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
First—don’t just stick a sign in the yard and hope for the best. Today’s buyers are savvy, and first impressions matter more than ever. That means staging, great photos, smart pricing, and a marketing plan that actually gets eyeballs on your home. I always tell my sellers: your home is a product now—let’s make sure it stands out. I’ll guide you through what’s worth fixing, what’s not, and how to get the best return without losing your mind.
3. What types of clients have you worked with?
Since 2004, I’ve helped just about every type of buyer and seller you can imagine—first-timers, growing families, downsizers, investors, and folks relocating in or out of Georgia. My sweet spot is single-family homes in Cobb County, especially helping homeowners who are ready to right-size or move closer to the lifestyle they really want. No matter the price point or situation, I bring patience, strategy, and straight-up honesty to every deal.
4. Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
One of my favorites was helping the Johnson family sell their beautiful hobby farm—18 acres with a private lake, just outside of Atlanta. They had bought it during the height of COVID in 2020 to raise their four kids with room to roam. We created a fun listing video that went viral on social media, and it ended up attracting a lovely couple relocating from Oakland, California. They were blown away by how friendly everyone was throughout the process—including the buyer’s agent, who was a dream to work with. This was actually the fourth time I’ve helped the Johnsons buy or sell, and that kind of loyalty means everything to me. When past clients come back or send their friends and family, that’s the best compliment I could ever get.
5. How did you get started in Real Estate?
Before I ever sold a home, I worked as a commercial real estate appraiser for a large accounting firm—valuing everything from railroad rights-of-way to the Mall of America. After having two kids, I took a break to focus on raising them. Once they were in school, I was ready for a new challenge. Residential real estate seemed like a good fit—something flexible I could do “part-time” while being a mom.
Well… that part-time plan didn’t last long. Within a year, I was the top agent at the Keller Williams office in West Cobb. Turns out, real estate was more than just a flexible job—it was a calling. And I’ve never looked back.
6. Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
Absolutely. I’ve spent over two decades in real estate and I never stop learning. Before jumping into residential sales, I launched my career in commercial appraising at a large firm—so I bring serious valuation and analysis skills to every property I work with. Plus, I’ve led and trained a 140?agent office, so I know how to coach teams, problem-solve and build systems that get results ?.
