We were out of town, so showing and seeing properties were a challenge, but Conna would tour properties and facetime us while there. She also gave us valued, honest feedback about the properties visited. When we found the property we wanted, Conna tirelessly negotiated the contract until we got the price we wanted. Throughout the escrow process, Conna kept us informed and stayed on top of the seller's required repairs from the inspection. She was also able to get the seller to do more than required. Even when Conna wasn't readily available, there was always a team member available to handle or needs. Conna is extremely knowledgeable and has a no nonesense attitude (which i admire greatly). That house was eaten by Hurricane Ivan in 2004 and I built a much larger and more secure house for resale. Ended up living there longer than I had expected and loved it. When we decided to sell we tried Paradise Realty first, they were awful. Not responsive, little apparent effort. Switched to Conna while we were in Australia, she did a great job of communicating overseas and letting us know what was up. She and I suffered through a scammer who strung us along for 9 weeks. When we got back, she advised us to turn the place into a short term rental, not what I wanted to do but we trusted her. Took us about 7 months, sold it for what we wanted in 6 weeks. Knowledgeable, personable, gets it done. Highly recommended over the big agencies on the beach.

What struck me at the time were there things: 1) She never made me feel "less than" because I had to do a short sale, 2) Her competence and confidence far exceeded my own and I felt like she "had my back" at every turn, and 3) Her unparalleled relationships with lenders and real estate attorneys, and her reputation in the community gave me the team I needed. During the next four years she was my cheerleader, providing me the determination and hope that I would again be a home owner. She kept encouraging me to speak to lenders - telling me there are options to explore. When I saw a house online last month, I called, and she was able to meet me at the drop of hat. We were off to look at the house and despite a previous engagement she (and her team!!!) were able to get my offer off to the seller in record time and she made it to her other appointment. We closed in a month, without a hitch on her part - in fact, she also made sure the seller's realtor did her job! LOL My favorite aspect of working with Conna is her flexibility and energy/passion. What I mean by that is...sometimes I wanted to be the "boss" and have my own way, and sometimes I felt like being taken care of. Conna can easily switch back and forth and meet your needs - even as your needs change. And her energy and passion for making sure you're satisfied is remarkable. She always made me feel like I was her only priority - even though I saw on FB and Instagram she was constantly closing on a property or listing another. ZillowVERIFIED Conna has great knowledge of the Pensacola area real estate market.However, I was dissatisfied with her representation.After I signed the contract for sale I found out that the buyer "would have paid almost anything" to buy my condo.The source of this information based his statement on personal knowledge of the buyer's intent.However, knowing this, Conna recommended that I drop my asking price by over $14,000, then advised me to accept an offer that was ultimately $17,000 below my original asking price, the asking price she recommended.In essence, i believe she was negotiating for the benefit of the buyer, which violated her contractual duty to solely represent my interests.I feel she simply wanted a quick sale to collect her fee.During the negotiating process she never shared with me that the buyer owned the condo next to mine, and was highly motivated to buy mine.

With it's multiple regulations and financial hurdles, throw in the human personality and buying and selling real-estate can be sticky at best. It's the true professional that can guide you through the needle when things become difficult. Example: I needed to sell my property before I could purchase another. My purchase depended on a very short time line as the seller was eager for his money. My buyer was advised by his agent that his financing institution was suspect in handling lease property on the beach. When the financing fell through, my seller was very upset and was very much against extending the closing time line. Conna worked with both agents, locating a financial source that could close within 30 days, same time encouraging the sellers agent to work with her seller on accepting another closing date. Thirty days later we had a sell/buy closing. There is no doubt in my mind, without Conna's expertise in dealing with all parties, the buy/sell would not have occurred.
