He had answers for every one of my questions and I truly felt he had my best interest in mind; not just trying to sell me any house. He was more often than not, the voice of reason- even if it meant not closing on a particular home. He showed me about a dozen houses, all over the metro area and was very patient and prompt with every request. Even in a hot sellers market, he was able to get me showings; sometimes even before the house was officially on the market. On the selling side, Collin was very helpful guiding us to prepare our house for showings, have it professionally photographed, and get it listed on various sites. I know that many showings occurred because Collin kept promoting the property among realtors and online. We had one price reduction. By early March, I accepted an offer for higher than the list price. Closing occurred as scheduled, without problem.

As a first time home buyer and a chronic over-analyzer, I was probably one of the pickiest buyers any realtor could ever work with, but Collin had infinite patience with me and never made me feel pressured to settle on a house. He genuinely wanted to make sure I found the house that truly felt like somewhere I could call home. He was really good at remembering the things I liked and didnt like about houses we visited, and used it to narrow the search. When we found the right house, the price was a little more than I wanted to pay. He gave me great advice on how we could negotiate and also set appropriate expectations with me. He is not a shark and I wouldnt want to work with one. He was respectful and ethical (didnt waste time with insultingly low offers or tricks/gimmicks), but clearly always on my side. I was very happy with the price the seller and I agreed to. Once we entered escrow and the wait to close began, I started getting a little nervous and doubtful about the house. Collin was always there for me, answering every little question that I had and was willing to humor me if I wanted to look at other houses. But by that point, he also knew my must-haves very well and was able to give me some great guidance. Im sure anyone else wouldve thought I was such a pain, but Collin never made me feel that way. I went through with buying the house and it is still the best decision Ive ever made. It truly is the PERFECT fit for me, my partner and our future family. One thing I really appreciated about Collin *after* close was that he didnt disappear. He was still available to answer questions, he checked in every once in a while to make sure everything was going well with the house, and he helped me throw a fantastic housewarming party (he even provided the food!).
