ZillowVERIFIED During the time frame of mid August through 11 Oct 2019, Cody Michaelis assisted my daughter and I, in listing and selling my property, and, in finding, and purchasing a new property. The whole ordeal was a coordination nightmare, in dealing with all of the other realtors, inspectors, appraisals, offers, and counter-offers, etc., for both properties, with most happening almost simultaneously. Cody worked extremely hard and diligently to keep everything on track, answer all our questions, and on many occasions, he worked well into the night, and on most weekends, to ensure that all went as it was supposed to. There arent enough words to explain how pleased we were/are for having had Cody represent us, through this hectic and trying time. To say that Cody went well above and beyond would be an understatement; He soared well above that. We cant thank Cody enough for guiding and pulling us through. He did a bunch of ?to dos? that needed fixing, saving me trips to the unit. He did multiple Home Depot runs to pick things up to solve issues brought forward by the buyers inspection report. The ones he could fix he took the initiative to fix. He also met and allowed access for all other vendors to fix issues. He found me a plumber, a mold remediation company, and a handyman. I sold my unit for close to ask price and it was because of Cody?s due diligence and negotiation skills. Great Experience!

I was dead set on a duplex but wasnt finding anything in my price range in a neighborhood that could offer my forever home. Cody eventually encouraged me to look at a single-family home on a big lot zoned for a second unit. Best of all was the community of Imperial Beach. The town is developing fast and home prices are rising, but it still feels like the last little beach town left in Southern California. One walk along Seacoast Drive at sunset, seeing everyone with their dogs, checking out the waves or sipping coffee, and I was sold. Cody helped me see past the brown paint and brown tile and help me buy a home I absolutely adore. When I was weary of the home hunting process and wanted to rush to put in an above price offer, Cody did extensive research to make sure I was getting a good buy and the deal wouldnt fall through on appraisal. A youre later and I couldnt be happier. I never plan to sell but when I do buy another home Cody will absolutely be the only agent I trust.

ZillowVERIFIED Cody was an enormous help when we bought our in San Diego. Even though we were first-time homebuyers, we ended up with a home that was absolutely perfect for us - in fact, it was much more than we could have hoped for when first moving here. Cody was INCREDIBLY patient with us and seriously took into account all of the things that we wanted in our home. When we changed our minds on areas/types of properties/price range, etc., he totally took it into stride without missing a beat. I know he put in a lot of hard work and his own time to help find us a place that was the best fit. He was definitely on top of all the new listings, knew the areas well, and he was always willing to work around our complicated schedule even if it meant showing homes/discussing issues at odd hours or on short notice. Something else that was really important to us was that he was always honest with us and very straight-forward, which is so hard to find! Home-buying in California (we were from Arizona) can be a grueling process - we put in multiple offers on multiple places, and felt absolutely defeated at times. Cody kept fighting for us to find the right place and helped us navigate through a lot of difficult issues that arose in the process. Overall, we had a great experience. I dont think we would have ended up with our home at the price that we did if Cody hadnt helped us out. We are planning on moving within San Diego in the next 1-2 years and will definitely be asking for Codys help with selling/buying again!
