Our experience with Copper West Real Estate in The Dalles was nothing short of fantastic. We moved to the area about a year ago and were recommended to meet with Cody Cornett of Copper West. We decided we wanted to rent for a couple of years before buying, but we werent sure where to look. So even without the promise of having us as clients, Cody spent a long day with us touring communities in the Gorge and showing us homes for sale that could give us an idea of future housing inventory when we were ready to buy. Cody kept in touch periodically throughout our first year, and answered our many questions about the market. At the end of our first year in the Gorge, We decided we were ready to buy. Cody had already been so helpful that he was our obvious choice for a realtor. He listened carefully to what we were looking for for, educated us on what homes had upside potential and what kind of investments we would need to make for both livability and for future resale, and acted as our advocate when we decided to put an offer down on a home and asked to negotiate with the seller on some needed repairs. I cant say enough about how patient Cody was and how good he was at explaining the nuances of homebuying and home ownership for us as first time homebuyers.

Cody worked with us on selling our first house on a contingency deal to buy a larger home. To say the least there was a lot of moving parts, and it was amazing having Cody guide us through the process. From our first sit down all the way to handing off the keys, Cody was extremely helpful in getting us into our new home. Throughout the entire process he was professional, positive, patient and above all listened our needs.
