ZillowVERIFIED I recently moved from Reno to San Diego and was recommended to Clayton by a friend. With being 500 miles away and looking to purchase a home, it was a huge risk putting so much trust in someone I didnt even get to meet. My situation is also very unique; I am an independent contractor and have a zoo worth of animals so I was unable to rent (and unwilling to leave my pets). Clayton referred me to an amazing lender and they basically tag teamed the entire process jumping through many many hoops to get me down here. They were able to have my loan completely underwritten, making it pretty hard to beat. Clayton was persistent and creative with his approach to sellers which helped us beat an insane amount of offers. He sent me care packages the entire time (which was a very silly and amazing surprise) and helped me totally get through my many of mental breakdowns! He is insanely quick to respond, works nonstop, and is always finding new solutions to make sure that you are getting a home. There was no way that he was going to let me bail. He found me the perfect forever home for my partner and I, and our gazillion pets. I am forever grateful for Clayton for getting me through this home buying process and for making a wonderful new friend. When you find a place you love, Clayton is very honest about what it takes to get accepted with a home bid. There are no real negotiations, Clayton gets an idea of the bids and you make a shot in the dark. When you are accepted he is great at answering questions or getting the right people to call you with the answers. There is a lot of paper work, but call Clayton anytime you have any concerns.
