ZillowVERIFIED If you are buying a home from out of state, you know how stressful and time-comsuming it is. We knew we wanted to make Kentucky our new home, and on our second trip out, we met Clarissa. She listened carefully to our goal of finding a home in a rural area that was still close to everyday necessities. Buying from afar requires a lot of trust, confidence, and communication, and Clarissa delivered perfectly. From doing video walkthroughs to negotiating with the seller, she was with us every step of the way. She went above and beyond to help us close on our new home, and she is still there for us as we are in the process of moving. I cannot imagine not having her there! If you are looking for an agent who is dedicated, trustworthy, and truly cares about her clients, look no further than Clarissa. We highly recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat. Thank you, Clarissa for all your hard work and making our dream come true.

ZillowVERIFIED Clarissa went so far beyond what I thought a Realtor would do, that I don't know how to describe it. She never gave up even though the process was very long and the property was outside of her area. She went out of her way to network with local Realtors to obtain answers to questions about the area and property. Honorable mention to the entire Barber family who also went above and beyond! Cannot recommend Clarissa enough.

ZillowVERIFIED Buying: Clarissa is willing to go anywhere to view homes that might have been of interest. And we did go to some out of the way places. She sent me updates on new listings and homes that were on the "visit again" list. The buying plethora of forms, addendums, etc. were executed quickly and easily. My questions were correctly answered. We had to do three final walk throughs until we were ready to close on the house. Selling: Clarissa advised the listing price showing me comparable homes' prices. She made sure my home got exposure via all the tools at her disposal. She also conducted one open house and one "neighborhood" tour. She kept me updated on the prospective buyers comments, asked questions about our covenants when posed and explained proper procedures when presented. Additionally Clarissa helped me "stage" my home so prospective buyers could assess whether it would fit their needs, even to the point of helping me choose to discard things I had stored and didn't need. Performing all these tasks Clarissa always was cheerful and positive. It was my pleasure to trust Clarissa; her work is above and beyond the professional standard.

ZillowVERIFIED Clarissa was always available, and quick to respond. She was extremely helpful in the whole process. She went far distances to look at houses all over the place. Once the process started she was very helpful with referrals for lenders and inspectors. She negotiated to help us get a fair price for the place. Her assistance with the whole process was greatly appreciated.

ZillowVERIFIED Clarissa was so great to work with for buying my first home, and again years later when selling it. She always responded right away and was immediately available. Throughout the process she went above and beyond to make things easy for me - followed up with additional info on any questions I had, provided local contacts, and even offered to completely handle some remaining things on my todo list when I was stressing about being ready in time to list - and I never felt pressured or rushed into making decisions.

ZillowVERIFIED Clarissa was an absolute delight to work with throughout the entire process! As a first time home buyer, admittedly I started the home buying journey somewhat overwhelmed and nervous considering the overall significance of finding the right space that would meet a variety of needs for me and my family; from the overall conceptualized ideal/preferred type of milieu I wished to raise my children; logistical factors such as commuting distances to both school and work; in addition to a rather lengthy property attributes in my aEURoewantaEUR? column; despite the various complexities of my requests, Clarissa went above and beyond and found an ample number of properties that marked all the boxes for me to view. She was incredibly helpful at each showing and took the time to not just provide but explain comprehensive information about each property. Clarissas exceptional level of knowledge and expertise quickly eased any nervousness or uncertainty I had at the start of the home buying journey because I knew the general, physical, and financial well being of my children and I were genuinely her number one priority in making sure we found the perfect place to call home! I will recommend Clarissa Barber to anyone who is considering purchasing or selling real estate and will also be using her for all my future real estate needs! Clarissa provides nothing less than the absolute best in all aspects of her work! My family and I are beyond thankful to have found a real estate professional as fantastic as Clarissa!

ZillowVERIFIED Clarissa was wonderful, start to finish. Very professional, sharp, deeply knowledgeable of the area market. Clarissa immediately identified and showed me properties perfectly tailored for my needs and wants, and we found the right property very quickly. She was on top of new listings: we saw my house Saturday afternoon, put in a bid that evening, and our offer was accepted by Sunday morning. Clarissa also connected me with a mortgage broker that arranged more favorable loan terms than my pre-approval lender. Just a wonderful, stress-free experience. Absolutely will use Clarissa Barber again.

ZillowVERIFIED 1. If it were possible to give 1,000 stars, I would do so without hesitation. I would fill the entire sky with them! Clarissa is truly an exceptional individual! I firmly believe that everything happens for a reason, and I couldn't be more grateful that she was my realtor. Her professionalism and extensive knowledge are remarkable. Whether it was 7 in the morning or 10 at night, she was always there to answer my questions and ease my worries. She genuinely cares about more than just closing a deal; she cares about my well-being and that of my kiddos. I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone embarking on this journey; she is simply outstanding!

ZillowVERIFIED Clarissa is amazing! Not only did she help us find a landlord, out of the kindness of her heart, when we moved to Lexington looking to rent. 3 years later, we suffered a fire rendering our rental unlivable and we decided to buy a new home. We reached out to Clarissa who has listings sent to us in minutes! She was available throughout the entire to process to answer any questions we had, as well as guided us through the buying process as first time homeowners. Thanks to her help, we were able to move into our home within 5 weeks! I will recommend Clarissa to everyone I know in the Lexington and surrounding areas. She is the best of the best!

ZillowVERIFIED Clarissa went the extra mile many many times for us as if it was just routine. She was very gracious, a complete joy to work with and made the process of purchasing our home so much less stressful. She stuck with us as we continued to change our criteria to narrow down what we really wanted. Her expertise were unmatched. She drove all over the state helping us find what we wanted (and we ended up right in our own town about 4 miles away, lol). Her dedication to helping us find our home made us feel like we were her only client, and I would absolutely use her again without a 2nd thought. Highly recommend Clarissa! ZillowVERIFIED We started looking for a house to purchase and move from the subdivision we were living in. There was nothing wrong with the house or the subdivision it was just the houses were a little closer than we would have liked. My wife found a home a couple miles away from where we were living and Clarissa was the agent that had the house listed. We contacted Clarissa and set up a time to view the property. We really liked Clarissa rite from the start. She was very informative about the listed property and answered all our questions. Clarissa asked who we were gonna let sell our house and we told her we hadnt decided that yet. After talking with my wife we decided to let Clarissa sell our home for us. We couldnt be happier with our experience of buying and selling through Clarissa. She was wonderful. She sold our house quick and helped us get our new home bought. We definitely give her 5 stars. If you are looking to buy or sell a home I highly recommend Clarissa Barber for all your real estate needs. I would definitely recommend her to anyone.

ZillowVERIFIED Clarissa helped us purchase a home while we were living out of state. The home we fell in love with came with a ton of extra complications with a land lease and we were managing unusual and complex negotiations for quite a while before finally closing. She worked with us through every detail. She helped us understand the area so well, which is super important since we are not local. Once we fell in love with our home she was completely committed to helping us make it work, always super responsive, advocated for us and worked so hard to make the experience enjoyable even when it felt overwhelming. Even after closing she has been so critical in helping us find painters, lawn care, and checking in on the house periodically while we can't be there. We're so grateful for her. She has made our move to a new place much less daunting.

ZillowVERIFIED Clarissa is a 15 on a scale of 1-10. Professional attitude, appearance, and very kind. Every item was checked off about how to sell a house quickly and for the right price. Response time consistently was immediate or very shortly after. Paperwork was all done correctly and timely. House was sold within two weeks as the interest rates were going up and market was slowing. If you want your house sold timely, correctly, and for the right price call her. She also is a very nice person. Closing conference went smoothly and documents were all correct and ready. Certainly a big thank you to Ideal Realty for recommending Clarissa. They committed to finding me a hard working, results oriented professional and they delivered.

ZillowVERIFIED I highly recommend Clarissa to anyone in the process of buying or selling their home. She is knowledgeable about the current market and helped me price it appropriately. I was living out of state and my house needed a few touches, she was able to check for me and made sure that that the contractors I had hired finished the work, and even had a great referral to make sure it was spick and span for its opening. Helped me follow up with anything needed post inspection. Made sure all the paperwork was correct for me before I signed. I was able to sell my house quickly and over asking price. ZillowVERIFIED I wanted to move to Lexington from Oregon. I contacted Clarissa , and she was very supportive. Not even meeting me she was very professional, understanding what I was looking for, and it wasn't a big commission place I was looking for. She put me on her list and didn't take but a couple weeks we found a Condo. I totally trusted her outlook of the place and completely relayed to me the condition, and repairs needed with pictures. I totally trusted her and it was the best unseen move I've made. Since then I have remodeled the place as expected. Couldn't be happier. Clarissa wasn't just a fantastic realtor, but a great positive influence of Lexington, Kentucky.
