First and foremost, Claire Abate has to be the number one realtor in the area perhaps tied to her husband Jim (whom I did not work as extensively with)! When I first called Claire through a referral, I was only seeking to gather some information to determine whether or not I wanted to sell. That weekend, having gone to a few open houses I ended up finding the home of my dreams. Upon calling Claire to notify her I wanted to move forward, Claire without hesitation steam rolled through all the documentation to list my previous home, and put in an offer on my new home. As it happens with home purchases, we ran into a few issues particularly with the appraisal of the new home being significantly under what we had originally offered and signed the Purchase and Sales Agreement for. Claire not only advised me to fight the price but she negotiated with the sellers to lower the previously agreed upon price 40K. Had Claire not been such an amazing negotiator I would have had to find a way to cough up an extra 40k for my downpayment. My whole process of selling my house and buying a new one took a total of alittle under 60 days. You can find no better realtor around than Claire and her husband Jim. This I promise you!
