ZillowVERIFIEDWe did not have a good experience with Epic Reality when renting a condo in Maui. Within 6 hours of check in, they switched our condo that we booked from a resort style condo to a residential condo with no amenities. They keep on insisting that it was an upgrade but the condo they moved us to is 30% less than our original condo and the only offer given was to move out and find our own accommodations for a full refund. I would not rent from them again.

ZillowVERIFIED Not a big fan (at all) working very briefly with Cimi. I reserved a vacation rental of hers. And when I asked about safety regarding covid (ex: if my family was unable to travel last minute bc we contracted covid) she told us we should get travel insurance (so she could get paid obviously) and she wasn?t going to ?hold up her calendar for guests that are not committed to take necessary precautions? all I wanted was to have some assurance that if something bad happened she would work with us. She was passive aggressive and in my opinion a bit heartless given that it?s a pandemic and there is so much uncertainty in the word right now. I have not traveled in over two years bc of covid- I don?t even go to the grocery store... and we are vaccinated. But her responses were cold and judgmental. She then cancelled the trip we paid for immediately bc I told her I felt she was insulting and that I said it was kind of crazy to not work with families during a pandemic (again this is all hypothetical I didn?t try and cancel I just wanted to know what our options were). So now we have to find a new place to stay. Such a bummer to deal with people who don?t take the stress of a pandemic and what it does to families seriously and would rather make money.

We contacted her by phone & we spoke for quite awhile. When our conversation ended, she knew what I was looking for. She began sending me listings that fit my property expectations. Among other things, she sent me rental financials, association dues, and other expenses. This would help me evaluate each listed property. We finally decided on a few possible properties & booked a flight to Maui. Upon arrival, we toured the various properties & found one that fit our goals. Cimi prepared a contract that was very aggressive & tried to get our best possible price & terms. We were able to reach an agreement with the sellers. Somehow Cimi was made aware of my search and called me and began locating properties that met my criteria. Some other agents made contact by email but none invested a phone call. She has a great eye and very knowledgeable. The only flaw in our transaction was from the selling agent, was a bit lax on some of the informaion I felt was needed before completion of the sale that should have been passed on to Cimi. Cimi Morgan is an experienced , trustworthy realtor who understands the nuances of the local market and has vast connections in the Maui real estate market to execute your real estate transactions. She represented us as buyers and secured two highly sought after properties for us at Honua Kai within a period of two months. One of the properties had multiple bids one day after listing and due to Cimis experience and shrewd negotiation skills, she was able to position our offer ahead of several other all cash offers. We were originally looking at properties in Napili Bay but Cimi took the time to understand our goals in our real estate purchase and suggested Honua Kai. We live in the San Francisco Bay Area and Cimi was so accessible by phone and email that our transaction was much simpler than when we have transacted properties in our own area. She was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, enthusiastic, and professional and impressed me as a person I wanted to work with. Although we were unable to complete a transaction at that time I called Cimi from home (Redlands, California) 3 months later for her advice.I was moving to a purchased condo in La Jolla, California and needed to sell my home. She counseled me on who and how to select a realtor in my area and even took the initiative to interview one for me in the selection. She also advised me on the suggested sale price by investigating comparable sales in my area.My house received an offer the second day it was listed. Another problem arose.
