Christopher Kemp

Chris Kemp is an Associate Broker with Equity Real Estate and founder of the Chris Kemp Realty Group, serving Utah County and the greater Wasatch Front with over 30 years of real estate and construction experience. With more than 1,000 homes sold, Chris brings a depth of market knowledge and hands-on expertise that few agents can match.

A graduate of Brigham Young University with a B.S. in Construction Management and Business, Chris is also a licensed Class B General Contractor - which means when he walks through a property, he sees it the way a builder does. That perspective saves his clients from costly surprises and helps sellers maximize their home's value before it ever hits the market. He is also fluent in Spanish and regularly serves Utah's growing Spanish-speaking community.

Chris began his career as a project engineer on the Micron Technology Campus in Lehi - one of the largest construction projects in the world at the time - overseeing more than $400 million in improvements. He went on to found WesTech Construction, where he built over 200 custom homes across northern Utah. That builder's foundation gives his clients an edge in every transaction.

As founder of Dorado Investments, Chris has spent years acquiring and repositioning distressed and off-market properties, giving him a unique perspective on value that benefits both buyers looking for opportunity and sellers wanting top dollar.

Chris specializes in helping Utah County homeowners navigate their next move - whether that's upsizing, downsizing, or rightsizing into the next chapter of life. He is based in Highland, Utah, has served on the Highland City Planning Commission, and has taught real estate and foreclosure courses at Brigham Young University.

When he's not helping clients, you'll find him fly fishing Utah's mountain streams or chasing saltwater species in Belize, the Bahamas, or Colombia.
