ZillowVERIFIEDThis wasnt the typical home selling experience, and we were forced to rely on our Realtor far more than what I would imagine is routine. He endured countless delays and challenges with the buyers lender and really had to stay on them night and day to get the deal done. He kept us up-to-date every step of the way, and was professional, transparent, and empathetic when delivering disappointing news about what was happening on the buyers side. Meanwhile, he kept us on pace with getting all of our stuff to the correct parties so we never felt rushed. Most importantly of all, Chris did the little things. Getting to a rather personal story, my wife and I endured a miscarriage one week into listing the house and Chris swooped in and took care of everything, including even spending on some items from his own pocket, to help us recover and not worry about the house. It was truly appreciated. Even after that, wed notice hed done little things like replace the batteries in the fire alarms and purchased new carbon monoxide detectors. He was a truly valuable partner for us in this journey and we couldnt be more thrilled about the experience.

We had a unique experience with Chris due to the fact that we already had found our builder and were under contract. We were under the impression that realtor commission would either go towards closing or the design studio. That was not the case and the commissions would have just been lost. I was able to get in contact with Chris and he was at our builder the next representing us for the build. Chris split his commission with us which was awesome! I have to be honest that I thought I would see Chris when we first met and at closing. That was not the case at all. Chris worked with us hand in hand on every step of the process. He was at every meeting and was a great sounding board for every decision that we had a question on. Chris became more than just our realtor but, some who had a vested interest in our home building process and we really felt as if Chris always had our back. While he stood to make more money if we sold our previous home, he didn't pressure us in that direction, helped us realize it made more sense to keep that home and rent it, and directed us to a property manager we love. As for buying our new home, there aren't enough accolades I can use to describe Chris' professionalism, diplomacy, and intuition. It was a challenging purchase process given the age of the home (120 years), the lack of relevant comps, and a seller who was having trouble saying goodbye to her home. At every turn and bump in the road, Chris provided us wise advice that turned out to be exactly right. We hope to be in our home for a very long time, but if we're not, we wouldn't consider using anyone but Chris.

ZillowVERIFIEDTo say that Chris had his work cut out in selling my home is a vast understatement! It wasn't that my house was a fixer-upper (although the professional pictures he arranged to have taken made it look so beautiful that I wanted to buy it!), it was just that I had to find a particular buyer....FAST! I was already under contract on another house that was contingent on my house selling, my daughter and her family was living with me while their house was built AND my daughter was about to give birth to baby #3. On top of all of this, I needed to rent my house back while the new house had some repairs done. In ONLY 4 DAYS Chris managed to sell my house to a person who did not need a contingency AND was able to let me rent it back!! Not only did all of this turn out better than I could have ever asked for; but through it all Chris was patient, professional, positive and helpful. He was very patient with us as well. One thing that I really liked was how quick he was to respond to you. IF you emailed him, he would responde right away and alot of times he woudl send the email to get the answer you were looking for and then call to follow up to better explain. He did a great job of highlighting the best features of our home, and the buyer was particularly impressed with those (energy efficient) upgrades. He arranged to have a professional photographer come to take photos of our house, and it really made the listing look fantastic! He made us signs to put up around the house which pointed out features and upgrades that prospective buyers may not have noticed otherwise. Chris always followed through on everything, and answered every one of our (many) questions. We really couldn't have asked for more. I gave him one less star on process expertise because he just began his real estate career this year, and we were one of his first clients.
