However, I thought I would use the same realtor I used to sell my first home in 2020, thinking it would be a good experience. I was wrong. I would reach to my realtor asking to meet to go over things and discuss details of selling my home. She would respond and tell me she would get back to me the next day. That didnt happen and I didnt sweat it because I thought she was super busy with clients as she did in 2020. But it happened multiple times forgetting to call or schedule her meeting. Finally, I decided to take my best friends advice and contact Christine. I begin to notice a difference of what a realtor should do and how they operate their business. For starters, I never had to keep reaching out to her just to get her business. One text and she got started right away, scheduling the first meeting to discuss my property and expectations. Christine is everything I could ask for in a realtor, and more. In 2019, my husband add I began looking to purchase our first home. To say we had no idea what we were doing is no exaggeration. Luckily, a friend of mine recommended Christine. I went from feeling so nervous to step foot in the housing market that we considered signing another lease on our apartment, to feeling completely comfortable in the hands of Christine after just one phone call. That journey ended in our very first home purchase! Fast forward to 2024, it was time to sell our first home. I contacted Christine again, and within TWO weeks our home was on the market and UNDER CONTRACT within THREE days! Christine held our hand throughout the entire process and provided everything we needed to know to make the transaction as seamless as possible. She answered any and all questions that we had, even some that were likely not under her responsibility and possibly should have been for our realtor for our new home purchase. ZillowVERIFIED Edited Review: My experience with Christine Nieva has resulted in personal attacks and targeted harassment after leaving a review where I gave her a 5/5 in Responsiveness and a 4/5 in Expertise, but an overall lower score for a variety of factors mentioned below. In response to my review on Zillow where I speak nothing of her character, Christine has publicly resorted to personal attacks about mine, even gone so far as fabricating or exaggerating my mental health/mental disorders. Additionally, there have been private threats like contacting my military superiors that take the matter past being personal, so I am writing this to provide context for people to consider. The experience itself: My ex wife and I consulted Christine during our divorce to sell the family home. Christine has a personal friendship with my ex wife, so I was hesitant to pursue her representation due to concerns about impartiality. We continued the consultation over the next few months until I truly felt her impartiality could be called into question (and was heavily advised from those around me to find a realtor who was not best friends with my ex wife). As it turns out, despite Christine's agreement to keep both parties equally aware of correspondence regarding the sale of the home, she has admitted to being on emails with my ex wife and her lawyer privately to get me to agree to something on their timeline -- which is exactly what I was concerned about and asked her to refrain from doing. All in all, I'm glad I trusted my gut and had people around me to speak some sense. I aimed to provide a truthful and accurate review of Christine. I did not mention her character or get personal a single time. I led the initial review with "While Christine is a knowledgeable and responsive realtor, I did not have a positive experience with her as my agent when moving to sell my home." and closed with "The home recently closed for 785k, and while I can appreciate Christine's responsiveness, I would not recommend her." The home sold did not sell for the the 725,000 or lower she was preparing me for earlier in the year, but for 785,000 on a timeline that aligned with what worked for me and was agreed upon by lawyers. Original review: While Christine is a knowledgeable and responsive realtor, I did not have a positive experience with her as my agent when moving to sell my home. Despite my insistence on putting off the home for sale until summer, Christine pushed for an immediate listing, recommending we list at 700k, 711k, or 725k, stating we would be lucky to get an offer at 725k. Ultimately, I did not believe my interests and preferences were fully considered, instead pushing for an immediate sale. I am immensely lucky to have trusted my gut, and I met with different agents who were able to align a selling strategy based around what was best for me. The home recently closed for 785k, and while I can appreciate Christine's responsiveness, I would not recommend her.

Thus, my experience going into this purchase with her was already fantastic. I am not an easy going person when it comes to purchasing a home. I had a long needs list and was unwilling to compromise even a little. That is challenging in any market and moreso in this one. Thankfully I had Christine in my corner! She was always patient and understanding. She never took any house dismissal personal, no matter how excited she may have been to show me a house she thought had everything I wanted (many were but there was always something I found wrong with them haha). She kept the same positive energy going the entire search! Finally one day, we found the perfect home! It was new construction in phase 1 and also the last house of the phase left. The listing agent told us it was about to be under contract with one of two buyers already signed. Unfortunately for them, their agent wasnt Christine! She asked the listing agent if we were to submit a strong offer and sign in the next few hours, could we win. They confirmed there was still a chance. So Christine rushed over there from out of state to show me the home. It was everything I wanted and I was able to go under contract that night! I cant say enough great things about Christine! This house has several hundred thousand in built in equity (being severely undervalued for the area) and was everything I was looking for. 10/10! 5 stars! Being a first time home buyer is quite the learning experience, especially when it's a sellers market. Christine, Liz, and team were with us every step of the way - providing us with their knowledge, expertise, professional connections, and perspective. Ontop of all that, the customer service we experienced was above and beyond. The team was always responsive via text, email, call - your choice. When I say responsive, I don't mean 2 business days - they were always ontop of it 24/7. We were unsure of where and what we wanted to buy, so we were always on the lookout for open houses.
