I have raved about my experience with Christie so much that within less than a month of selling my home, three acquaintances have met with her about buying/selling. Its easy to tell people what they want to hear, or to undersell, then overdeliver. Its much more difficult to hit the nail on the head from the beginning and let folks know exactly what to expect. Christie operates with an impressive precision in a field that is based on relationships. Heres what makes Christie the ideal real estate agent: she has the experience to know what it takes to sell a home, she hustles, and she has a network of vendors to help get the job done. I first met Christie a few years ago when I first considered selling. I ultimately decided to wait, but I took the subsequent years to check things off the list of improvements Christie suggested. My house wasnt perfect, but Christie helped prioritize the things that were going to matter the most to buyers. So if youre going to put your house in the market in the near future, meet with Christie now so she can help you develop a strategy. Once I did decide to list (of course, after the peak real estate season), Christie left no stone unturned. I'm sure that in todays hot market, you could just let houses try to sell themselves. Christie takes no chances. She hired a professional photographer/videographer, she pre-listed so that agents were ready to show on Day 1, and she sought feedback from everyone who saw it so that she could adjust strategy as necessary. And her efforts paid off: my house had multiple offers in less than 24 hours and ultimately sold for higher than the listed price. I really believe that is to Christies credit given comparable homes in my neighborhood that are still sitting on the market after months. Finally, one of the things that made working with Christie so positive were the references she provided for repairs and a pre-inspection (highly recommended, btw). On my own, I was waiting weeks to get scheduled for a quote, and then I was getting absurd estimates as if I planned to retire in that house. With the companies Christie suggested, I was able to get estimates and repairs done in record time because they understood that the objective was to get the house sold.
