Chris Sheffer is simply the BEST!We were planning on using another "top" agent in Granite Bay until we told a friend who had used this other agent. She discouraged us from using him and instead highly recommended Chris. We always use referrals from someone we trust and luckily decided to meet with her. Within that first meeting we were put at ease and loved her! She had lots of information for us and a plan of attack in order for us to maximize our asking price! She recommended 3 different upgrades for us to accomplish before we listed and even had us paint the front door a new color and adding matching shutters. Everything she asked us to do really made the house look fantastic!She also told us NOT to do a few things that we thought were necessary. Things like replacing the front driveway that was in rough shape. She was right again. We did not waste money on doing them and still got what we feel was top dollar for our home! One last thing. She recommended using a stager, Amy, and we agreed to use her. Another awesome choice as Amy made our home look like a model home! Our house was listed and had multiple offers within 26 days! As always, in selling a house, there were bumps in the road, but she handled that with tact and honesty.....I was not ready to take ALL of the family pictures out ( OK, some, but, really, ALL?) , however she understood and we negotiated that MOST of the pictures would be gone,....and Chris respected my need to continue to maintain the family traditions of decorating the Family Knight in Armor during the staging, showings, and SELLING our our beloved home. Chris understood that selling a home is not just a business transaction, it is a family transition. When we got offers etc, Chris gave great advice and the result was we sold with love and purchased a new home that is perfect... Chris managed the sell of our house and the purchase of our new home; Buying the new home required diligence and effort.... .Due to issues that were totally not related to Chris, she ended up doing more of the negotiation, closing, communicating to the other buyers/sellers than was required.....with her professionalism, she stepped in and handled the details/legal aspects/closing actions that the other agents did not handle.
