As a first-time homebuyer, I frankly was clueless about where to start. Chris listened to me and gained a really strong understanding of my wishlist. He then sent me properties that were within this wishlist, and would sometimes call out homes that were slightly outside this wishlist, with good reasoning. Leveraging his experience as a seasoned homeowner, he was able to see the potential of properties I would never have considered before. My house hunt took over 10 months and Chris was there with me every step of the way! Including when I took a break during said house hunt. Even after closing, Chris has continued to be a trusted advisor. He was able to schedule a cleaning lady for the house since I wanted it deep cleaned. I would 100% recommend Chris to any home buyers, especially first time home buyers.

As a single female first time home buyer I pretty much had no idea what I was doing when I started the home buying process, but thanks to Chris I am now the proud owner of my very own condo in my dream location! He walked me through every step of the process and looked out for my best interests at every turn. He?s very knowledgeable about the area (Queen Anne), which was helpful as I am moving from the eastside. There were some unusual complexities in the financing for this particular condo and Chris went above and beyond doing research and problem solving on my behalf to get the deal done. I?m not sure it would have even worked out if not for Chris. I am beyond grateful and would highly recommend him to anyone looking to buy, especially first time home buyers!

Chris is a knowledgeable, hard working, and high integrity real estate agent. I feel incredibly comfortable recommending him to anyone looking for an agent in the Seattle area. I can speak to my experience as a buyer but I would definitely recommend Chris to any seller as well. I closed on a house in July 2021 in the middle of one of the most competitive markets theres been in history. We got this done by 1) Remaining patient. Although we didnt make as many offers (5 in total) as many buyers, we saw a handful of houses a week starting in April 2021. As the weeks went by, we managed to get a great feel for the confluence of our price point and priorities could meet. All the while, Chris was level headed and optimistic despite our highs and lows. I never felt the slightest bit of pressure from Chris to lower the bar or raise our budget. 2) Keeping an open mind, trusted Chris expertise. I came to Chris early on with a small number of neighborhoods that I was interested in. Over time I kept making concession after concession about walkability/house quality/etc in order to stay competitive in those neighborhoods. Chris opened our eyes to pockets of Seattle elsewhere that gave us everything we were looking for in our original search area but where we get so much more value. 3) Rapport and Relationships. Chris works at Windermere which is an agency youll be very familiar with if youre looking at homes in Seattle and has done an excellent job building up a network beyond even that. It felt like Chris had an excellent ability to advocate for me during negotiations and closing because of the trust that he had built up with the selling side. Its hard to quantify but that really made me feel like I was always putting my best foot forward. 4) A little bit of luck, but engineered luck. Its too competitive to just stick to a single strategy and expect things to work out in a couple offers. We put together good contracts, didnt sit on the sidelines, stayed optimistic, explored new areas in order to better our chances. Also, we used the seemingly only thing we had in our favor, time, to make it work. Maybe youll have a different advantage, but Im sure Chris will identify it and use that advantage to its fullest. Overall, I really sympathize with buyers right now. Its tempting to offer on a house below your needs just so you can end your search by going way above ask. Thankfully, thats not what happened for me and Chris was the right agent to guide us to that result. Give him a call and I think youll feel the same way - good luck!

We began working with Chris several months ahead of our listing. He listened to our goals and concerns, taking into account the unprecedented times we currently live in, and demonstrated experience and good judgement in helping us prepare our home for listing. He was very helpful and hands-on (despite the necessities of social distancing) and was not afraid to offer suggestions that helped us sell our home quickly. Chris was calm and level headed throughout the process and a joy to work with.

I was shopping for apartments / houses. Chris helped me better understand pros and cons of each type and make a good decision. Then he showed me different places which I had chosen very quickly. He always immediately responded to emails and managed to get property visit appointments in less than a day. For each place he showed to me he thoroughly explained all the pros and cons. He patiently answered all the questions I had about any relevant or irrelevant detail.
