ZillowVERIFIED I see a lot of great reviews for Chris here, and I have to say I concur with all of it. He is very responsive and client-focused -- he never ever pressured me about any listing, was honest about drawbacks in some of the properties we saw, was always willing to set up a viewing. I've met a few realtors in my search and I must say many of them don't really know what they are talking about. They don't know the basics of building construction or heating, they often times don't even know the details of the house they are selling. Chris is very knowledgable when it comes to building construction compared to most realtors -- at a few of the places we saw, he took the trouble of explaining some of the systems and pros and cons of the remodeling done in some of these places. Chris also really understands real estate and is deeply passionate about it. You do want to work with someone who is passionate about their job! Additionally he is well-networked and that does help. For example, I once went to an open house that was cancelled last minute but Chris was able to get me in. Pretty much every open house I went to in JP and West Rox, they knew Chris. I bought my first home through Chris and when it's time to sell this place, I'll definitely get in touch with him. A lot of things happen behind the scenes once you place an offer on a house and so you want to go with an intelligent realtor who is sensible about which battles to fight.. Chris handled my whole buying process with maturity and objectivity, and gave me good advice regarding what I should be concerned about and what I could let go. I trust his intelligence and like his personality, and so I recommend him!

Despite the long process, he was very patient, and we never felt pressured or rushed. I always felt that he was looking after our best interest. One potentially major problem was found during inspection of our house, but I expressed to Chris that there was probably not much point in asking for any concessions from the seller given the very strong seller's market, especially in our particular area, but he was the one who felt he should be able to negotiate something for us, and sure enough he was able to have the sellers cover some of the closing cost.Also, the whole buying process was very smooth. I went with the mortgage company and lawyer he recommended, and they were great too. The whole team was very responsive and everything went very smoothly. I tried to find my own home insurance, but when the avenues I pursued were not working out, I asks for a recommendation, and it was spot-on. I highly recommend Chris!

We chose to work with Chris after interviewing 2 other potential brokers who also have extensive experience working with buyers in that neighborhood. What set Chris apart from the beginning was his thoroughness, attention to detail, and desire to help us find the place that was right for us. A huge additional bonus that sets Chris apart from other brokers is his significant knowledge of construction and home condition details so he is able to point out things that could be a costly problem down the road. When the property we ultimately purchased went on the market, he was able to get us in early to see it before others. We were primarily interested in Roslindale/ JP, an area with which Chris is extremely familiar. Our new home is in the exact neighborhood that we requested. Chris was able to get us into the condo for a walkthrough before it was listed. With Chriss guidance we negotiated an offer that was well within our budget and before any open houses took place our offer had been accepted. Next Chris continued to hold our hands during the inspection and closing processes. He recommended to us an incredibly thorough inspector, as well as knowledgeable lender and lawyer. My fiancee and I felt so comfortable with the entire team. It can be quite stressful to embark on such a foreign, lengthy and complicated process with complete strangers, however, we always felt like we could trust Chris and the people/ businesses he recommended to us. Since moving into our new home Chris has assisted us in finding people to help us renovate.
