As a managing broker and owner since 2001, I can honestly say that the real estate business has been truly exciting and remarkably challenging. I was told early in my career that to be a successful broker one has to be a chameleon, adapting to ever-changing market conditions, staying abreast of relentless technological innovation and constantly reeducating oneself with the legal ramifications involved in being responsible for the largest investment that most people make in their lifetimes. Of course searching out talented individuals with the skills necessary to survive and excel as real estate professionals is also no small undertaking and thanks to those individuals, a dedicated and very understanding wife, we have managed not only to succeed but to prosper in three states with highly respected real estate brokerages.
