ZillowVERIFIED Our experience with Chris was quite disappointing. We had an appointment to see a house on December 24th, but when we arrived, he came outside of the house and informed us that the appointment was cancelled without any prior notice or call. He even tried to hide the fact that he was the realtor by referring to himself in third person, stating "Chris should've sent you guys an e-mail about the cancellation". His picture was on the for sale sign outside the house but since he was wearing a mask, it made it hard to make out who it was. Only after further probing did he finally, very nonchalantly, admitted that he is indeed Chris, as if he didn't just try to hide his identity. Throughout our interaction, he kept changing his story as to why he couldnt show us the house. Initially, claiming the toilets clogged, then saying that an offer had been accepted and then stating well the owner is planning not to sell the house now. All while what seemed to be a family was inside scoping out the place. This lack of transparency and inconsistency in his communication left us feeling frustrated and misled. I called him back a week later and he said the owner accepted an offer. Were coming close to a month since the incident took place and the house is still listed for sale on Zillow and every other realtor website. Its important for realtors to be honest and upfront with their clients and unfortunately, Chris was extremely unprofessional.
