ZillowVERIFIED Chris listed and sold my house in the summer of 2019 and I could not have asked for a better experience. I've bought and sold 5 houses in my life and this was the best experience by far. The two things that really stood out was his proactiveness to make sure the process went smoothly and his knowledge. First, my house needed a few things to get ready to sell. Just the normal paint and fixing of small items. Chris helped me identify the necessary, and more importantly, the unnecessary items that I needed to be addressed. He then coordinated with the contractors to make sure everything was done on time and on budget. I didn't have to do anything to manage the process which was fantastic. Secondly, Chris was very knowledgable about the market and the strategy to price, list and sell my house. He listed the house and within hours we had multiple competing offers on the house. He helped me sift through the offers and understand the pro and cons of each. We accepted the best offer and set a record for sale price in the neighborhood. Obviously, when you are selling or buying a home there are a ton of realtors to choose from. However, if you are in the D.C metro (DMV) don't even bother looking anywhere else.

In our case, he helped us sell our previous house and purchase a new house within a rather tight timeframe. He made finding the right home and purchasing it for a fair price in an extremely competitive market stress-free, and I couldn't be more grateful. From our first meeting, he was friendly, approachable, honest, transparent, and extremely responsive. It was common for him to respond to questions via email or text within minutes, and he always provided context and an explanation justifying his recommendations so that we fully understood the situation. When he went on vacation, Chris left us an alternate point of contact who addressed all of our questions and even showed us another property, and when he returned, he was in the loop the following day and asking how he could help. Once we found the house we loved, Chris helped us craft an offer that took into account our financial constraints but that would be competitive in the current market. He had creative recommendations to help us win the bid and advocated for us with the selling agent. In the end, we were able to get financial credits from the seller and gained immediate equity in our home when the inspection came back with a value above what he negotiated for us to pay. Overall, Chris has been invaluable in this process. We closed on our home today, and Chris has already been helpful in giving us recommendations for contractors and other services we are interested in based on his broad knowledge and experience in this field. I met with him once and told him what I was looking for and he was able to quickly provide me with a few list of homes that best suited my needs. We only went out once to look at homes and during that showing, I was able to find a home which I liked. This attests to the fact that he is very much attuned to the needs of his clients. We did not have to do many showings to find the right house. Chris is professional. During the process of preparing for closing, Chris was very responsive in providing us with necessary information and also went beyond and above to get us all the relevant paperwork for closing. He knows off the top of his head all what was needed. Chris is honest and has integrity. The first house we went to see was newly renovated and looked nice to me. But with Chris' experience, he immediately saw some issues with the workmanship (ie leak) and called my attention to it. Had he not called my attention, I would not have seen it and would have probably bought the house. This shows that he did not just want to sell a house but he wanted to sell a good quality product which would give satisfaction to the client. I felt he was looking out for me. He was very responsive. He was available to answer all our questions in a timely manner. He was flexible to join a conference call with my husband who was out of the country. ZillowVERIFIED I walked in a house that was for sale about a month ago. I totally fell in love with it online and when I walked in it felt it should be mine. After meeting Chris he told me this house would be sold the next day so I got discouraged because I didnt know I could be pre-approved on that same Sunday! He recommended an awesome Apex person and I couldnt believe Chris called me the next night to congratulate me, the house was going to me mine soon!!!! Out of 12 offers mine was excepted! Over the next few weeks Chris was right there, every step! It was great and it was so easy working with him! he made this an exceptional pleasant process. Thank you so much Chris!
