I began my real estate journey in 1989 and then needed to step back when I became a single mother. In 2000 I was blessed with the opportunity to make a career move and secured my dream job by becoming a full time Real Estate agent and in 2020 my two daughters, Kylee Jo Sommer & Michaela Diebolt also became Realtors and we formed YMS Real Estate Group! Graduating from Lee's Summit High School in Missouri and receiving my Associates Degree at Allen County Community College in Iola Kansas, I have experience on both sides of the fence. My interest in real estate started when I was young and spent a lot of time with my Grandmother viewing Open Houses. I purchased my first home at the age of 21 realizing one of the most rewarding benefits of Homeownership is freedom. Helping buyers and sellers navigate their Real Estate needs when becoming a First Time Homeowner, Moving up to a larger home with their growing family, Building their Dream Home, Downsizing or having to make difficult decisions on Real Estate owned or inherited, I understand it! Educating, Negotiating and Listening to the needs of my Clients is most important and there is no better testimony than from past clients referring their friends and family.
