Get pre-approved before you start shopping so you know your budget and can move quickly when the right home hits the market. Focus on finding a home that fits your needs and long-term goals rather than trying to perfectly time the market. Work with a knowledgeable local real estate agent who can help you negotiate, navigate inspections, and avoid costly mistakes throughout the process.

Price your home correctly from the beginning, as overpriced homes often sit on the market longer and ultimately sell for less. Make a great first impression by decluttering, completing minor repairs, and ensuring your home is clean and show-ready. Partner with an experienced local real estate agent who can market your property effectively, negotiate on your behalf, and guide you through the entire selling process.

I have worked with a wide variety of clients, including first-time homebuyers, move-up buyers, downsizing sellers, investors, veterans using VA loans, buyers utilizing USDA financing, FHA and conventional loan borrowers, new construction buyers, land and farm purchasers, relocation clients, and property investors. I also assist sellers ranging from estate sales and inherited properties to luxury homes, manufactured homes, and families navigating major life transitions. My experience allows me to guide clients through virtually every stage of the real estate process with confidence and personalized service.

One of my favorite recent transactions involved a family relocating to Davie County for a new position with a local church. They needed a home that would not only work for them but also accommodate their parents moving in, so finding the right fit was especially important. After identifying their needs, we found the perfect new construction home, negotiated the contract, and successfully closed in just 21 days—making their transition to the community smooth and stress-free.

I got my start in real estate through two very different experiences that shaped my appreciation for property. Growing up on a farm in Davie County, I learned the value of land, hard work, and the importance of home. Later, after getting married and moving into a new construction neighborhood, I became fascinated with the building process and the excitement of homeownership. That passion led me to earn my real estate license in 2004 while I was pregnant with my daughter, and I've been helping buyers and sellers achieve their real estate goals ever since.

Absolutely! In addition to being a licensed North Carolina REALTOR® since 2004, I have earned several industry designations and certifications that allow me to better serve my clients in today's ever-changing real estate market. My credentials include GRI (Graduate, REALTOR® Institute), ABR® (Accredited Buyer's Representative), PSA (Pricing Strategy Advisor), e-PRO®, SFR® (Short Sales & Foreclosure Resource), C2EX Certification, CREN (Certified Real Estate Negotiator), Final Offer Certified, and NAF Certified, with my Military Relocation Professional (MRP) certification currently in progress. Beyond residential sales, I also have extensive experience in new construction, property management, land and farm sales, and investment properties. Prior to focusing full-time on real estate sales, I worked as a property manager for multiple luxury apartment communities, giving me valuable insight into leasing, investment properties, tenant relations, property operations, and asset management. This diverse background allows me to guide first-time buyers, investors, sellers, veterans, relocation clients, and luxury home clients with confidence and expertise. Whether you're buying, selling, investing, or building, my goal is to use my education, experience, and local market knowledge to help you make informed decisions and achieve the best possible results.
