When, at the beginning of August we were informed by our landlord that he was selling our home and that we have 60 days to move out, we were in an absolute panic. We were frantically looking for rentals that met both our needs and our price range...and we could find nothing! At that point, I began having a nagging thought that maybe we were in a position to buy a house. I received a referral for the Whitney Team from a good friend, and from the moment my husband and I first met with him, it was clear we were in competent hands. Chase clearly knew what he was talking about, and answered our many, many questions with patience and understanding. While I had shopped around for lenders, we ended up using his suggestion as he gave the best interest rate...and we realized we could fulfill our dream of being homeowners. We were very motivated in the search process, and Chase was there with us step by step, guiding us and offering sage advice based on experience. About a week after we started looking we had found "the one." I knew it the moment we walked through the door. Chase submitted our offer, and guided us through the whole escrow process flawlessly. Our escrow closed on 8/31/18, and we took possession of the house a few days after... ONE MONTH after the process began. To say we were impressed with the experience is an understatement. I would highly recommend Chase and the Whitney Team to anyone who asks. Even after we had moved in, I thought there was a problem with an outlet, and Chase came right over to test it!!! We were ready to give up when we decided to give another realtor a try and found Chase Whitney at an open house in Cypress. Within a month, he showed us two homes that were not yet on the market. He put in offers for us and our offers were accepted. Both the houses had exactly what we had been looking for-basically Chase understood what we were looking for, knew the market in the area like very few agents do and was incredibly professional from start to finish.He took care of all aspects of the transaction from start to finish and even when there a few road bumps during the escrow period, he connected us with excellent lenders and good repair people to fix what was needed.
