ZillowVERIFIED I am a busy discerning professional, and I have worked with Charles for the last 6 years. He is a talented, committed professional. He has represented me on multiple fronts: as Leasee, Buyer, Seller, Leasor, etc. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable of the market, he is well connected to the community and broker community to get a good sense of how a property will fair on the market. He was accommodating to my needs and preferences in every way, and he was skilled at working effectively with the other parties to the deals to achieve optimal success. Charles merits my highest recommendations.

ZillowVERIFIED We had the pleasure of working with Charles on the purchase of our home in Laguna Niguel. He was extremely knowledgeable about Laguna Niguel and understood all the nuances of each neighborhood. That knowledge lead us to make an informed decision not just on the home itself, but the neighborhood as well.Through the process Charles was a true professional. He communicated promptly and made himself available when needed, but wasnt over bearing. Our experience has been that some other agents can be a bit pushy. In the end, we ended up with a beautiful home that Charles put in front of us moments after it was listed. It was perfect and we were able to get in with an offer very quickly and ultimately make the deal. The process was painless and he made sure that we were prepared for every deadline. I would recommend Charles to anyone looking for a home in the Orange County area.

ZillowVERIFIED I want to take a moment and tell you about someone who has had great influence on my life. Charles Brickell, Broker/Associate, at COMPASS. As you know, this is not something I have ever emailed before but its important to me. In 2004, I joined the Prudential California Realtys Laguna Beach office and met Charles. During my time at that office, I held Charles in the highest regard. When it came time for my husband and I sell our home ten years later, I looked to Charles to handle our largest asset. Charles was able to accomplish the highest resale in the community, a record that still stands today. In 2015, when I was in charge of my Mothers estate, again I called on Charles. Charles held a very successful and beautifully orchestrated open house. During that open house he was able to engage conversation with a man who, within a week, submitted a strong offer and the home closed within 30 days. Mark and I moved out of State in 2016. Since that time, Charles has called and stayed in touch with us. He is a gentleman who not only checks on friends but also his clients to genuinely see how they are doing. In November 2018 he called. Timing was amazing as we were in the midst of a terrible real estate transaction that we wanted to unwind according to ethics and law. Charles was gracious enough to explain how to handle what was sitting on our plate. Through his direction and guidance, this transaction was handled with dignity and grace and file closed within 48 hours. I cant say enough about Charles. For all your real estate needs in Southern California, Charles is the man for the job. Once you have worked with Charles and incorporated him into your real planning, no one else will do.

ZillowVERIFIED My husband and I first met Charles as the selling agent on the purchase of our home in 2007. We were impressed by his expertise and he became our go to Realtor, handling several transactions for family members, including the recent sale of 2 more properties for us - to everyone's satisfaction. It is rare to find someone so knowledgeable and professional that you simply know all will be taken care of. This is Charles Brickell.

ZillowVERIFIED Working with Charles to sell our home was one of the best decisions we made during our relocation process. His understanding of the area including schools, inventory, market conditions and price points helped us quickly move through the process of getting our home listed in order to get maximum value for our home. Throughout the showing cycle Charles kept us informed and personally hosted each open house and individual showing. His easy going style helped potential buyers feel at ease and helped them truly understand the personal and market value of our property. Once under contract, Charles again showed how valuable a great realtor partner can be by managing the process and making every aspect of the closing easier for us and our busy schedules. Even today Charles checks in with us in our new home and keeps us informed of life back in SoCal. I highly recommend Charles whether you are buying or selling!

ZillowVERIFIED Charles was efficient and went above and beyond what is expected of an agent from listing to closing. Also, Charles is very calm at what could be stressful points of the contingency portions of the sale so therefore, we remained calm. He has great follow through from beginning to end, and communicates through entire process. We enjoyed and respected Charles as an agent.

ZillowVERIFIED Charles represented me in a transaction to find and purchase a new home in Orange County. He is undoubtably one of the most diligent and thorough realtors I have had the pleasure to work with and was always considerate of my time and requirements. Charles was well prepared at every showing and did a great job of prescreening properties that fit the profile we were seeking.Charles knows the market and the surrounding areas. In addition, he has been very thoughtful in following up after the transaction closed. I highly recommend Charles as both a buyer's and seller's agent.

ZillowVERIFIED Charles Brickell. Where do I begin recommending Charles for all your real estate needs?I am drawn to Charles' impeccable professionalism, high standard of care of his clients properties via outstanding advertising and consummate follow-through, and his vast knowledge of the Laguna Beach/Laguna Niguel community. It is through this expertise that Charles is spot-on regarding listing, pricing, showing and negotiating all residential real estate transactions. I came to believe while observing Charles in the South County real estate arena that when we listed and sold a property of our own, Charles would be our only consideration as our family's real estate professional. In the last two years, Charles has successfully listed and sold two of our properties in the Laguna Niguel East Nine neighborhood. Our first home sold in 2014 is still the highest listed and sold. Our second home was only on the market for three days before a full price offer was received. This property successfully and without issue closed in January 2016.Without question, Charles is the only agent my family will ever consider when buying and selling in the South Orange County area.

ZillowVERIFIED You just can't beat experience. We had a high end property with some out of the ordinary complications, yet, Charles delivered on all expectations; sale price, length of time on market and a smooth escrow. You'd be wise to work with him. He's consultative, communicative and responsive, providing great feedback every step of the way. We evaluated other listing agents; Coldwell, Surterre and Berkshire. With Charles we received an individualized strategy and plan specific to our needs, not a one size fits most approach. Be smart, work with Charles Brickell.

ZillowVERIFIED I worked with Charles to first lease a home, and later sell a home. Both times his professionalism and responsiveness were key to the success. He is always prepared for whatever issues may come up, which in my case were also legal issues related to the property. His vast experience and knowledge of the legal aspects involved with real estate transactions made the process go smoothly and profitably for me, the seller. The home was sold within a week, and the steps all took place on track just as Charles set-up. I was grateful to have a professional like Charles on my team, and would definitely work with him again.

From the time we listed our home to the close of escrow, he was prompt in responding to questions and concerns and had excellent recommendations for presenting our home and negotiating with the buyers. We had never before agreed to show a home by appointment only, but Charles convinced us that it was appropriate for our home and that he would be available for showings, and we were very well satisfied with the showings our home received. It was a pleasure to work with him.
