She did an initial walk-through of the property before I had it remodeled and made suggestions as to what I could do to improve the value to the property. I followed her suggestions and had the house remodeled and she walked it again and worked up a thorough estimate of its worth. Within a day of telling her we were ready to list, Catherine had it on Zillow and other web sites, as well as local advertising sites. She also had a Open House scheduled for Sunday of the first week. Within a couple of days, she walked the property with the future buyer and by the next day, she had a written offer from them. Through the whole escrow process, Catherine kept in daily contact and sent the proper papers for me to sign promptly. I cant imagine having a more qualified realtor and I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone.

The initial bidding was crazy. Catherine followed the process, we came in fourth, but Catherine stayed in contact with the sellers realtor. The house wouldnt appraise for what the other buyers offered and eventually we were in a position to get the house we wanted. In a robust real estate market I was expecting several offers but to my dismay had only two. Of the two only one was at or higher than asking price. We toured tons of houses trying to find the right one. She was very knowledgeable about the area. She also was very good about pointing out pros and cons of the houses we looked at. Catherine had been very helpful from the time I consulted her on the property market situation, and that was back in February 12. She knows this market very well. With all those knowledge, we strategized what we have to do to get my house sold quickly and achieving the goal that I want. She advised on repair and maintenance work that would be needed in the months that followed. She also recommended local quality tradesmen who would perform the repair at the time and price that suited me. Even though there were a lot of work on my part, I was able to achieve all my goals to prep the property on time for sale.As the property opened to the public on the designated day, an offer came in that night, we hold on for a few more days until the first open-house weekend event. Many interested parties showed up. The following Monday, we went through all the offers and selected the buyer. After this event, more inspections were done, some more repair and requests came in. She handled those quickly and professionally. The escrow was close and the money is in my bank. What can I say? An excellent experience.By the way, I bought this property more than 12 years ago with her acting as our agent. She had kept up the contacts with us all these years. She is not just a Realtor, she is also my friend after all these business transactions.

ZillowVERIFIED I would recommend Catherine without reservation. I have used Catherine twice. Once to sell a home in San Ramon a several years ago and again just recently to purchase a townhouse in Dublin. So I have seen her on both the buying and selling side. On the selling side everything went without a hitch. Her local knowledge of the the area allowed us to price the house appropriately, we were kept apprised of all events and were led through the process without a hitch. On the buying side we spend the large part of a day together driving around and looking at houses. By the end of the day she pretty much knew what was important and what we were looking for and would let us know when homes that matched us came on the market. Once we found a house the negotiation went well and we were informed and guided through the avalanche requirements and deadlines. She made effective use of her cell phone, texts and email throughout the process. The only reason I did not give Catherine five stars for negotiation skills (which she probably does have) was that our transactions went so well that she did not have the opportunity to make use of them. Again, I would recommend her with reservation for either buying or selling.
