Carolyn was very professional and skilled in the entire preparation of my condo for sale. She took great care of all thinkable AND unthinkable issues. She constantly gave very valuable advice throughout the sales process and skillfully negotiated the best price for me. I would have given her 6 stars, but could not find the 6-star button! Highly recommend Carolyn. I have previously bought 2 homes with Carolyn's help and am very happy to recommend her to all home -buyers and -sellers! Carolyn was recommended to us first in 2008 when we were trying to sell our home with no bites in 7 months, and it had been on the market with virtually no shows. Carolyn guided us through staging, marketed out home, and within two months we had multiple showings and an offer. We were so pleased with her, we asked her to represent us on the purchase of our new home. It was like having a lawyer and a realtor wrapped into one, she fought for us and didnt back down when the seller was no longer providing us with what we thought we were getting. In the end, we got what we wanted, and closed in a timely manner. It was then no surprise that we called upon her 10 years later when it was time to sell that home due to a job transfer. At a time when there were multiple competing homes up for sale in our neighborhood, we had an offer within 4 months, closing 30 days after the offer came in. If anyone is ever looking for a realtor who cares, is passionate about getting the job done, and knowledgeable in her field, Carolyn Schmalenberger comes highly recommended.
